Yeah: you clearly did not knew about Black Marsh, the Summerset Isles, Elsweyr, Hammerfell and Valenwood seceeding from the Empire and Morrowind becoming unlivable, did you?

Or maybe these people are those who remained as citizens of the empire, despite the war. Also Morrowind isn't unlivable, the Dark Elves are being a bunch of babies. Its no worse than third era Vvardenfel.

Morrowind isn't part of the empire anymore also, btw.

Dude...there's already at least one high elf imperial in Skyrim as it is, and the Empire itself is extremely diverse and multi-racial. Did you ever play Oblivion?

For whatever reason there can still be people who remain loyalists.
You think after the Stormcloaks win the war, all avid Nord supporters of the Empire will suddenly switch sides too? Their beliefs would remain the same. And probably the Empire's payroll as well.

I'd argue it's more realistic to have a multi-racial legion, especially with the entire concept of the empire and the Romans that inspired them. In particular with regards to Orcs who definitely should have a presence in the Imperial Legion as their role in the Legion is the only reason they're considered citizens rather than creatures in the first place.

In morrowind the empire was hiring orcs as soldiers as well as the markarth blacksmith saying she was originally with the legion if anything the empire should have more orc soldiers mixed with nords and imperials

I find it somewhat odd to see women being added under the category "inhuman", and non-human might be the term you were looking for, but why not just call it "Worldly troops" or "Diversified soldiers". Inhuman killer is quite often used as a description for describing humans. Sorry for giving you a bad time though i'll give the mod a whirl it looks interesting.

In the first version there were no women, only other races. That is the reason for the name.

I like the idea of adding the other races into the armies but there is a problem with adding females. Yes it is sexist, but that is how it was in those times. Females had little to no rights and were not allowed to join the armies. Granted Rikke is even in the Legion is because she is probably a daughter of a powerful man or something along those lines. Though still a great mod and I appreciate the work you put into this no matter how much because coding is a BIT rate.

This isn't the history of our world, mate. There's no such thing as 'in those times.'

Women have a LONG history of serving in the Imperial Legion in The Elder Scrolls lore, some of them even ranking among the most distinguished warriors of all time. Women have led the EMPIRE. Hell, a woman FOUNDED the Empire. There has never been anything preventing women from joining the legion, save for the same things preventing ANYONE from joining:

It means spending a lot of time away from home, the pay sucks, and the Empire is coming apart at the seams.

The fact that somehow Skyrim managed to ship without ANY non-human races and precisely TWO women in the ranks (remember the one that orders you beheaded in the beginning.) has nothing to do with the state of women's rights in the Empire, and everything to do with the devs tiredly slapping some Imperial Armor on a bunch of generic Imperial characters and calling it a night.

Slow clap. I'm always happy when people remember that Tamriel is NOT freaking earth. Thank you, Philosophiac and well said.

Doesn't mean it does not have some basis to Earth's culture throughout the ages.

Legate Rikke isn't the only woman to serve in the Legion, look at Morrowind and you'll see a ton of female legion soldiers

The only problem with your statement is that there are female characters in the legion already

I'm not sexist but I notice that there are too many female legionnaire (mostly human or orc with pale pink skin), and their numbers are conflict with non-human legionnarie spawn rate make it really rare to find non-human legionnarie around camp, fort or cities.

I use this mod with Diverse Guards Skyrim which supposedly add new faces, female guard/soldier and also increase their numbers around the city, however even it's compatible with each other perfectly there are too many female legionnarie in my game now. I also test this mod before installing Diverse Guards Skyrim and notice that new spawn are mostly female legionnaire while non-human legionnaire spawn rate seems to be pretty low it's quite imbalance. I think it ruin immersion for me a bit because in reality even there are many women in the military since ancient time the vast majority of all combatants are men.

if it's not too much trouble could you please make the optional version that reduce the number of female legionnaire (of any races) while increase non-human legionnaire spawn rate. I think this is a great mod and I like to see it improve. Thank you very much for your time and effort.

I set it to 25% females. If I were a better modder I would make a MCM menu.

I love the idea of this mod! i was wondering though, is their a mod like this but for the stormcloaks? i know its probably not lore friendly but it seems like the stormcloaks should be taking anyone willing to fight the empire

Use a mod called fus ro d'oh, which adds fake voice files to non-voiced dialogue. Then u will have time to read. I havent done any voice acting. I am Danish so it would sound wrong.

Any voice actors who wanna help? I need soldier talk for all females and non-human males.

Nice! I've been waiting for this kind of mod for so long. there are plenty of great mods that change Imperial Legion gears yet none of them have concerned with the diversity and races of legionnaire who serve in Imperial Legion. While there are very few non-human legionnaire that is originally in this game isn't the Empire supposed to be place full of diversity? I saw only Imperial, Redguard and Breton legionnaire not to mention the lacks of female legionnaire. Thank you for create this mod it adds a missing details and missing piece for lore in this game, endorsed!

Most other mods which do what mine does also add a lot of other stuff that users may or may not want. I try to keep it simple.
