Just adding this because I didn't see the right answer when searching. The key in on Drelas Var. He is in the Arcane Grotto. Not Drelas from Drelas' Cottage. I think the waypoint takes you to the entrance that needs the key. You can enter it from the Midden Dark (a trapdoor in the frostbite spider room) apparently

Drelas wasn’t carrying the key when I killed him, Is there any particular reason why?

edit: figured it out, I just killed some random dunmer in a shack to get the key cuz he showed up when I searched for the guy with the key ALSO named drelas
Hi oh gosh it's been forever since you commented this so this is such a long shot but would you happen to know what shack? I've been running around the map and reloading over and over on the PS4 version trying to get the key to spawn and it's just not working. Came here to see if I couldn't get any help. Drelas doesn't spawn in his cottage like I've seen some people say, and the Drelas in the Arcane Grotto definitely still doesn't have a key haha. If you don't remember that's okay! As I said, asking is a long shot.
I don't know if this is still being actively worked on, but I just want to say that, at least on PS4, Drelas does not have the key to the Arcane Grotto.
been using this for many years and love it. thank u. i quit checking it for updates long ago so was surprised to see one. sadly i already have vers 1.03 in a large merge. it's worked very well over the years. no issues w/ my other college mods. great design, lighting, love it. but as others have mentioned, the fps can just plummet and stutter in spots. especially the astronomy tower.
i read that the latest update has some optimizations ect, that might help w/ the performance issues. room bounds or some such. i compared your latest esp to my entries and don't see anything that stands out.could u tell me how i might help w/ performance here? are the "room markers" that are persistent, are they the room bounds u spoke of? how might i tweak those or any help at all. advice appreciated. thank u!
It seems a long time since I have had a ramble here, its great rediscovering all the side passages, each with a dead idiot in it :) ??? My problem, maybe me, but the silver claw door isn't opening for me (dragon hawk wolf) It reacts, poisoning, ie the wrong combo? Is it different from usual easy trick, am I being as dumb as a draug??? Actually what got this character here, which is appropriate because he's a dwemer, is a Finders Keepers quest from Auryen LOTDB to find Wylandriah's spoon "somewhere near the Midden". Quest arrow points to the Ruined Fane, still looking under flower pots for that one, feeling dumb over that too, though still got a bit of Under to explore. Maybe I should fall through the ice pit that comes out at Ivarstead.

A great mod! I’m just having some trouble with the lord of the storms, is he unkillable? I can’t seem to do much damage to him with any spell or weapon before he just stops taking damage completely lol
