in front of jarl's chair. if u installed trough NMM it should be there. Check your data folder if its there then check it and it should be in front of that chair where jarl sits.
Having used this bow exclusively for some time now I can say its power is well beyond many of the craft able bows. I've gotten very use to it! So I don't really care anymore what it looks like as long as it keeps killing with one shot! It hasn't let me down...ever! True it could look "prettier", but pretty doesn't do the job! Thanks again for a great bow and fantastic mod. Don't be discouraged, just keep working at it. Ya cant please all the people all the time!
It was right in front of the Thrown...lying on the floor be careful it could be kicked around! Since its a dark color it's easy to miss. Did you download Through NMM? It should be there. My Son found it in his game UNDER the thrown cause the Stewart kicked it there! Its an Excellent bow, I believe its at 198 damage points but I haven't checked it lately, I just know it kills everything with one shot..even dragons! It has a damage point at 198 if legendary!
I commented on this over a year ago and the bow is STILL the best bow around! Ive probably loaded or made about every bow on Nexus and the Elder Bow is still better. I see some people have been having a problem finding the bow. If you use the console (as long as you downloaded and activated this mod) type in... player.additem 15000d63 1 ...and you will have the bow in your inventory!
That's no excuse to make a cheap knock-off... sorry :/... I think there are enough of those on the Nexus. Maybe you could make a simple change like a recolor; at least then, you can say you made something new With a name like The Elder Bow, I was kind of expecting something more grand.
Another note: in your descriptions, instead of saying "the damage is amazing!" you could say exactly how much damage it does? food for thought
it says in dragonsreach near throne/chair, ive activated mod in nexus mod manager and have it activated in skyrim data files but dont see it anywhere in dragonsreach, any help with location of this mod?
I must agree with the others, it looks like any old Daedric Bow. A bit of flash would set it aside as something more. It's power does make it deceiving! Normally it would take 2-3 arrows to kill a giant but this does it with one! You might want to make it a bit more harder to get. Just going to Dragonsreach and picking off the floor kina makes it TOO easy for such a high end bow. You might want to add a "quest" to get it. Then too, such a powerful bow should have equally powerful arrows to go with it. Just some things to think about! Nice bow just the same, thanks!
