Any idea how to just get the quest descriptions? I'm fine with quest location mark/indicators, in case I ever get lost - I don't see them anyway unless I specifically hold the X key to show the compass (I use iHud - I think - to hide the UI), and I don't see why it would be an issue with most people since the game allows toggling quest markers individually in the quest journal, as well as globally I think...
Is it fine to just override Even Better Quest Objectives, or why have people mentioned here they've made a patch to allow some EBQO compatibility patch / changes?
"2. An unexperienced user can and will screw up." Not really. A user who doesn't read installation instructions may bugger up. I wouldn't put that down to inexperience but to reckless stupidity.
I think I'm going to give it a shot and see what happens. Will report back. This is the only thing I've found that does this level of detail even in 2020.
"So you may ask yourself, "Why should I use this mod instead of Even Better Quest Objectives". Well that mod is awesome... if your still using quest markers, it's great to have a little more description other than "go here". My mod is completely different. I'm designing this mod so you can play Skyrim without the use of quest markers or without having map markers added by quest scripts so you can get that feel of immersion you got back in the Morrowind days. It will encourage you to explore a little more as you don't have an arrow to follow or a location plopped on your map."
I mean, it's literally in the description of this mod.
Your mod lacks the miscellaneous quest descriptions so I have to go with the Better Quest Objectives mod I just checked out. I liked your idea of Morrowind-like descriptions but it seems Skyrim was never intended to work that way. Still, I turned off the quest markers and the compass and immediately felt more immersed, and compulsed to explore the world around more
Please, please, please continue working on this. This is the best mod for Skyrim as it makes the game actually fun and enjoyable, just like Morrowind. I'm playing the Dragonborn expansion and quest descriptions suck, no way to find the objective if quest marker is disabled.

If I run both of them anyway, does anything explode? What kinds of errors can I expect?
Haven't used it yet so I don't know how well the quest descriptions compare.
