I apologize for the slow response, I don't really check the comments anymore and had no idea people were still interested in this silly little mod of mine!
Although I have no plans to personally port this to SSE, anyone who wishes to give that a shot has my blessing to share it with the world as they please!
Loaded Dovahare in my SSE and zero problems. I did not load Dovahbit.
One thing though, I think I overestimated her ability to harvest ingredients. I took her and Lydia to a cave just cleared the day before, to see how well she harvests. I thought I could just basically tell her to harvest and she'd go hoppin' around the cave loading up. But no, I have to command and point her to each individual plant. Hell, that takes longer than if I do it myself. Not at all worth it. Am I doing something wrong, or is she working as expected and I'm asking too much?
BTW, I repeat, Dovahare works perfectly in SSE, no port necessary. I

This works just fine in SSE & VR as is, no porting required (you can save the esp as form 44 and nif optimise it if the placebo effect that brings gives you comfort).
it looked fine but when i play dovahbit doesn't follow most of the time, he won't collect the ingredients, hes super slow at following if he will, and when i traveled outside of dragonsreach with him u just vanished pls fix or tell me how to resolve the prob also he doesn't where the necklace or helmet/hood
