I'm sorry I took so long "fixing" the brightness. I have now put up files (original and the alternate entrance) with slightly increased brightness. I hope it helps. (Screenshot added)
The thing with lighting is that everyone uses different combinations of brightness-altering mods (like CoT) and ENB's etc. That makes it impossible to get the perfect lighting. I originally adjusted the lighting in this house to vanilla levels, and made it a bit dark to give that cozy feeling. But I will keep this in mind in the future.
And about beds, I'm afraid I'm not going to do anything about that. Replacing and/or adding new beds will require a lot of changes in the room, and I'd rather not change that much. But I will also keep this in mind aswell for the next project.
If you liked "Rayek End" mod, but wanted something like it with a tad larger space, this is your mod. Love the location. I used the option to access via a latch in a field right outside Whiterun. This also makes for a great Vampire den, if you use jaxonz positioner mod which allows you to add/remove furniture, items, etc. I replaced the bed with a coffin, a gargoyle overlooking the hot tub and add a cage with "vampire cattle" for feeding. Life is good!
I've been poking through a few house mods and this one is absolutely lovely--compact, cozy, has a nice feel to it that would work with many types of character. Has most of what you need, with excellent atmosphere and beautiful attention to detail.
My only complaints (well, cons, to those considering the place) would be that there's no weapon -racks- to display swords, staffs etc., or at least I can't find any; and that the area with the tanning rack/stag's head seems a little random, considering that every other space is so well-used. I'd suggest a planter or two but I suppose that'd mean the mod would require the DLC. Maybe a little running water down that wall, or something? A couple of the walls near the entrance look a little bare too, but this is more like me wishing I could hang something (tapestries, weapon racks, whatever!) on them, because the place really does feel homey
Due to the lack of response from the mod creator, I have actually modded it myself to include racks and collectibles. But I am not the best with the Creation Kit, so I'm not sure if it would work with your game
After looking through pretty much EVERY house mode in the nexus and workshop, this is just the one I like. It's the kind of house I would have made myself if I ever got around to properly learn how the Creation Kit works! It's simple, but not too much that it becomes boring. It looks really well thought-out and refined. It reminds me of Rayeks End but a bit larger. However, I realize this mod hasn't had a lot of updates in the past few months, but there are a few things that I would love if you would add. Maybe spread a few displays around the house for claws, masks and some other (DLC) collectibles? Would be great to fill up the odd empty wall with!
Great House, really fits with my Character. The only Problem i have is that im using Climates of Tamriel and the House is extremely Dark. Somebody know a Solution for that? Or maybe u can make a Patch for this ?
