Exactly what I was looking for. The Bethesda trademark awful sound mastering was starting to do my head in. In order to be able to hear NPCs more than a foot away on 5.1 speakers I have to crank speech up to max and everything else a couple of notches above minimum. Which is fine for dialogue, but the combat was starting to grate. The same incredibly loud half second sound file, going YUH, YUH, YUH, YUH every time I swung my sword was making me want to jump the character off a cliff.
Edit - scratch that...it's human only...I'm a female wood elf. Back to searching around. I can't believe this isn't a more popular request. The normal one handed swings only have 2 half second audio clips that get played once a second. It's annoying as all hell.
Edit 2- Luckily it appears that the file structure is indentical for elves so you can make the mod work for elves just by changing renaming the "femaleeventoned" folder to "femaleelfhaughty"
Now Aluminiumfoil, is there any chance you could tell me which of these are the normal attack grunts and which are the power attack yells and which are the damage taken noises? I'd really lke to be able to just get rid of the constant "YUH, YUH, YUh, YUH" of spamming 1 handed normal attacks without completely muting my character.
I dont mind the shouts from the female voice. but I was just curious if anyone knows of a better female voice mod as the one in game somewhat sounds like a older girls deep voice. I'm looking for a younger sounding one.
