Just a word of warning, this may mess up the first Alduin fight by doing exactly what it says it does. You'll have to run quite a distance to get to him. I recommend not activating this mod until after you show Alduin what-for the first time.
That's good advice. I've never had my game crash while fighting Alduin, but I have had to slide halfway down the Throat of the World to reach him and then have to use the "TCL" console command to run back up and continue the fight.
An odd bug I get with this mod is that dragons will rarely (I've been doing a looooong playthrough and only encountered it twice) crash-land even if I haven't used dragonrend on them. I'm guessing this occurs when a dragon chooses to land but the only landing spot in the area is a "crash spot"

I've seen that, too. Some dragons I've fought while riding Odahving have crash-landed seemingly for no reason. I've never used Dragonrend while riding a dragon out of fear it would make my own dragon land and either kill me or crash the game, so I assumed it was from the Destruction perk that makes lightning spells insta-kill normal enemies below 25% health. Maybe against dragons it makes them crash instead of reducing them to powder. There could be other perks or abilities that kill enemies faster than your damage output normally would, too, so there could be a lot of causes for dragons crashing like that.
Thanks for making this, Praveen. Much better than the original Dragonrend, which seems more like a SUGGESTION that dragons land and let you kill them.
Although I would recommend that people wait to install this mod until *after* fighting Alduin on the Throat of the World, as he will often land halfway down the side of the mountain if you use the modded Dragonrend on him. EDIT: Actually, it can cause similar problems with Odahviing at Dragonsreach, so probably wait till after *that* fight instead.
Hah! Good to see someone with a sense of humour about their modding mishaps. I've never had that happen, though, so I don't think that's caused by this mod alone.
Everytime I use it the dragon I'm fighting disappears, "literally", the enemy icon on the compass disappears and my dragon is no where in sight. Anyone else having this problem?
I've never seen that, so it's probably caused by a conflict with another mod. I don't understand modding very well though, so I can't say anything beyond that.
Yeah, completely doesn't work. When I play using Deadly Dragons (whilst fighting the added dragons, vanilla dragons and Alduin) and Vanilla Skyrim, there is absolutely no difference between the mod and the Vanilla Dragonrend. What a surprise, i can't rate it.

ah well, this dragonrend still works better than the original!
