FOR THOSE WHO DON'T FIND IT OBVIOUS: My patch DOES CONFLICT with any other SKSE Patcher. They will override one another resulting in errors and other bad stuff you don't want to happen.

    UNINSTALLING FOR NOOBS:
    1. Deinstall Skyrim and delete all its files
    2. Install Skyrim again
    3. Install mods again

    UNINSTALLING FOR OTHER PEOPLE:
My mod does NOT overwrite anything. Just make sure your TESV.exe is about 99kb in size, delete it and rename TESV-original.exe (17MB) to TESV.exe. Go to Data\SKSE\ and edit SKSE.ini deleting RuntimeName entry from [Loader] section.

"Uninstalling for noobs" is not a joke. Some people have really proven too stupid to delete 1 line from text file. Quo vadis, humanity?

tried this and it now causes me to have to re-enter my steam password on every attempt to go to game a real pain. so your mod is trashed and your unsupported arrogance is fitting on you, you were a "noob" once too, you may know more abbout game/modding but you are still a "noob" when it comes to being human

This was so validating to read. Thank you for posting. I don't want to download a mod from someone who is so cutting and demeaning, especially if it doesn't even work!

To anyone in 2020 still needing a tool like this,

This actually caused major screen tearing even with enabled VSync settings ranging from the nvidia control panel to all my skyrim mod .ini files. The screen tearing stopped after I manually uninstalled the mod (1. delete TESV.exe; 2. rename TESV_original.exe to TESV.exe; 3. Go to Data\SKSE and open SKSE.ini. 4. Delete 'RuntimeName=TESV_original.exe' under [Loader])

Doesn't work at all. Followed the installation, but when I run Skyrim from Steam it doesn't load SKSE.

Great work! This makes SKSE work on linux with SteamProton/SteamPlay for me (the renaming +skse.ini-variant didn't work). Just had to rename the ".steam" folder temporarly(!) to a non hidden folder for installation. Move this .exe file in the Skyrim folder, install with wine, rename the folder again back to ".steam" and it works (as far as I see. So the game starts and loads and shows in the save-menu ingame that skse is installed).

That might be Steam uploading old saves that it had saved in cloud storage or something. Happens to me every time. It's annoying.
