No because jesus hates you and also because you are supposed to install this mod on your computer without thinking or asking logical questions. As you can tell it's been more than 2 years and all you got is me here telling you to install this pos mod while you can
i do,however have a request. is ther any way you could set it so that the dialogue only shows up when you have the requirements e.g. 300 gold, enough bottles of booze and maybe only when your in a town/inn. if it took the booze from your inventory after the event it would make more sense too.
also can this be made compatible with RND? waking up with the hangover drunkeness from that mod would really boost the immersion level
make a quest that sometimes thry steal half your things and sell them to bandits, then you need to kill the bandits and get your gear getting 1000g on the process your lucky day!!! , and that the chances would be 2% once each game month (reset after an ingame month) so cant be im robbed, im robbed again. could be rly awesome.
That's how I think it would effect the races, but I guess the difference shouldn't be too "big", and in the more
Argonian (due to their higher poisen resistance) Nord Dunmer, Altmer, Breton,Imperial , Redguard Orcs, Bosmer (drunken orc, some kind of scary) Khajiit
I would look how the respond to alcohol on their racial abilities and culture. Alcohol is indeed a (weak) neurotoxic substance, which makes Argonians more resistent (racial ability). Nords have have a culture, one could say: based on mead the more "civilized" races are not as used to alcohol as the nordic, as they most likely drink wine, diluted wine and beer. The Orc culture (now one could say that they, as a warrior culture are used to alcol), but I'm not quite sure about that. As they are a shamanistic culture as well. I think, in pure Orc-culture, alcohol is very uncommon (as in the Bosmer Culture, as they need their instincts and senses clear and not dazed in their daily lives. Khajiit at the end... well... ever seen a drunken cat?
But interesting would be, how the alchemie perks could effect the drinking capability. Though it could make the whole ting quite complicated.
Ehm, how did you make the denpendencies of (magicka? a spell that prevents the effect/removes it? or a potion), stamina and health?
I think I may go with argonians having better chances of winning. If I went the the nords, pretty much everyone in skyrim would have better odds of winning.
The only problem would be Argonians do not have poison resist, they have disease resist. Like I said in my earlier post (scroll down), Bosmer and Redguards have poison resist. Argonians would be one of the least resistant in that regard.
Redguard: Warrior Culture + poison resist + Nord: Natural Size + Culture + Orcs: Natural Size + Bosmer: Small Size - poison resist + Khajit: They can handle moon sugar they can handle booze Breton: Ties to Bosmer Imperial > Dunmer > Altmer > Argonian
So, you think redguards would have the best chance of winning? I'm hesitant to use nords because of the sheer number of nords in Skyrim. The player would hardly ever win.
I wouldn't say Redguards to be most resistant, they have some kind of warrior culture, agreed, but they are also a desert culture. and heat with alcohol is not a good combination, so many desert cultures have mostly drinks with a relatively low alcohol content.
Hehe, I forgot the change argonians had with skyrim, (before they had a 100% poison resistance, and a 75% disease) I thought they removed the disease resitance and not the poison...
I would put Dunmer not at the low end, more in the middle or high resistance (due to their culture mid), as the dumer have a very own alcohol production with some dangerous drinks (blamora blue, for example), and drinking is not as uncommon within them as their tribunal-culture would tell.
And in addition, dunmer can grow older then any other race, that must count something
Yes, I would put Redguard equal to Nord but higher if you want Nords to be handicapped due to sheer number. Yes Desert cultures consume weak alcohol but they consume it in large quantities because they get thirsty more often. Heat and Cold with alcohol are both equally dangerous in reality. I imagine that would be the least of their concerns though, so shouldn't be a factor. Yes I had Dunmer as less than Bosmer's but more than Altmer's as far as elves. Bosmer's have poison resist but due to stature puts them at a disadvantage to the more brutish size races.
If you use races as the random number generated, like redguards get a random number between 1 and 50, nords 1 and 45 etc. plus your factors like add alchemy, heavy armor, block, it will play a part but not so much that a redguard wins everytime but a redguard heavy armored that uses shield and has a high alchemy score will more than likely win most of the time. Shield and heavy armor scores used as example to encompass the warrior classes as one hand and two hand would give unfair advantage to magic and stealth classes who can boost their tolerance through alchemy score but should be less tolerant than warriors in some cases.
Yes, It works on jarls or any other major NPC. I just had a drinking contest with Elisif yesterday. :-) The only type of NPC you can't have drinking contest with is kids.
