I keep having a problem with the mannequins undressing every time the house resets. I tried a few different patches that are supposed to fix the naked mannequin bug, but they don't do the trick. I'm sure it's just that reset feature on the house itself. I could have sworn there was a patch to turn it off, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. There any suggestions, directions, or links you know of that could help with this little issue?
Yeah it does look cool. I have it like that in my own house. The reason I didn't do it that way in the mod is because there was bound to be someone who didn't like it.
Didn't do the 90° flip though. I like it.
As difficult as it is for me to imagine someone not liking the contrast between wood and stone, it's true that you can't please everyone. (points to self)
While messing around with the Katariah flooring, I found that it looks pretty sharp when set slightly below the vanilla floor; about -0.950 elevation, IIRC. The wood and the stone "grout" contrast quite nicely, IMO.
In a mod of my own, I added the wood to the entryway of Lakeview Manor, with the wood alternated 90 degrees for every other square. It looks pretty cool.

I was just about to download this when I saw in the description that the armor workbench, grindstone, and tanning rack were removed. I don't mind so much about the tanning rack being removed, but to me, the grindstone and workbench are a must for an armory in Skyrim.
Hell, get of that table. At the very least, a workbench can function the same...and then some. Removing functional equipment, while adding useless furniture, is a no-no, IMNSHO.
The barrel gets a pass because: 1. the armory had a barrel before, and 2. being a container, the barrel is functional.
However, when I considered how much potential the layout has, I was compelled to downloaded it, anyway.
See, I want to relocate the workbench, grinding wheel, and tanning rack, anyway. With the persistent versions already out of the way, those are three fewer things I have to deal with.
I guess it's just a bother to me that every Lakeview Armory mod I've seen has the weapon and armor upgrade stations removed from the room with all of the weapons and armor.
Still, since I want to relocate them, anyway (and I'm inept at modding), it's just as well that they're removed.
The main reason I removed them is because there is already a workbench and a tanning rack and a grindstone outside the house. Seemed kind of pointless to me to have it inside as well. Plus, whenever Rayya decides she can't sleep because she has nightmares when she hears her own voice, she goes to the freakin workbench and starts clattering away.
Yeah, I know there's a workbench, a grinding wheel, and a tanning rack outside, but the operative word is "outside."
The point of having a workbench and a grinding wheel in the armory is convenience. Because they're used to upgrade weapons and armor, it's convenient having a grinding wheel and a workbench in the room where the weapons and armor are kept.
Indeed, the locations of all three sets of upgrade/crafting stations (grinder, bench, and rack) are logical: 1. near the forge, so you can readily improve newly-crafted items; 2. in the armory, so you can readily improve the weapons and armor you already have; 3. outside, so you can readily improve items you might have looted (for some easy skill advancement) and/or improve an item you might have recently gotten a perk for (e.g. You picked "Arcane Smithing" when you leveled up, so now you can finally improve that soul trap weapon you've been using. You unload your loot in the storage chest by the bench, and head back out.)
Even if one uses the bench and grinder outside to upgrade their equipped gear before coming in the house, having them in the armory makes it easier to upgrade the weapons and armor stored there. Even if it's all for display, improving them is a great way to increase one's smithing skill. If my skill increases enough that I can improve my equipped weapons and armor a bit more, I can go inside and do the same to the stuff in the armory. More than a few times, while improving my gear, my skill increased to a point where I could upgrade it all again.
But it's a moot point. With all of the clutter and objects from the other rooms deleted, and the layout being really open, I'm actually having a little bit of fun rearranging things. Having removed quite a few of the deletions in TES5Edit, I have a few more mannequins to rearrange.
BTW, the floor looks awesome. I knew there was something different about your remodel from the screenshots, but oddly, I didn't notice that the floor was different texture.
Hey great mod!! The only problem I'm having is that I can't activate any of the weapon racks or weapon cases. I have the mod that changes all the hearthfire houses racks to work like the vanilla ones, would this be the reason I can't activate any of them? Or am I just crazy? Lol... But I really love the mod it is 10 times better then the original design (which I was not very fond of at all) and I had a different lakeview armory remodel but switched to this one because it looked AMAZING!! Haha
Thank you! I have actually completely forgotten about this mod.
What do you mean : "I have the mod that changes all the hearthfire houses racks to work like the vanilla ones" The weapon racks work the same in both Hearthfire and vanilla Skyrim. (In my experience anyway)
I have another mod called Lakeview Interior that changes the entire interior. That one has more mannequins and weapon racks, but I have never had any issues with them not working.
I think maybe they mean the "Hearthfire Weapon Rack Fixes" which fixes all the glitched weapon racks in Hearthfire homes that don't have activators. I'm having this problem as well.
hey great mod, i have a question, can you remodel it for me? i want 4 x weapon rack, 2 x each side of the wall so u need to remove the barrel and manequins, and also remove the center shelves with display cases and tiny chests and the table, can you do that for me? or tell me how can i do it myself

This was one of my very first mods. I don't even think about it anymore.
Thanks for the feedback though

Downloaded it and hopped into the Creation Kit and added 2 more mannequins which makes them a total of 10
Also the wood floor is epic! You've got a nice taste Noxide!
Keep up the great work and thanks for this mod!
