For some unknown reason, my FUS does not do the yay, yet in the beginning I heard (very faintly) Alduin using it. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
Never mind, just learned that it is only the end that is yay
Quick suggestion, could you make it go "Yay, Yaaay, Woo-Hoo, with the resounding thunder "Did my cheering do that?"
I'm currently working on a script that will add a shout without the need of a lame activator. Once I have that done and a new mod ready to be released I'll be updating each of my existing mods for compatibility with the steam workshop along with changes to some sounds. I like your echo idea, as for the rest that's what every other Fluttershy Unrelenting Force mod I've come across does; replaces every word which isn't what I want with Fus Ro Yay.
I found the Alduin echo rather amusing but I should be able to fix it once I make the new version with the Creation Kit.
Once I finish going through all the shouts I'll be going back and revisiting older ones with new versions. There's plenty of ideas and I get easily distracted. Slow Time was originally supposed to be a Twilight mod, "Clock is ticking", but ended up being Luna for reasons that are unknown even to me. So maybe "Rainbow Dah" would end up being one I do, shall see what happens because it would make a good shout.
This is actually pretty hilarious, I would not consider myself a 'fan' of this show but the sheer comedic effect of the yay is enough to make anyone die.
what it needs however, is a pause right after the yay, THEN the blast happens for extra comedic effect.
@paulisconfused I completely agree. I must have made hundreds of comments on how this is so stupid and this is ridiculous for a person who plays Skyrim. Absolute rubbish
I'm going to try and get through most of the shouts before I go back and revisit old ones like this and when the time comes I'll be looking back to comments for some ideas, so it's appreciated and having listened to Luna again I'm pretty sure I can get some decent audio for it but not necessarily for this shout.
Anytime an enemy uses the full shout you will hear the yay echo, look in the fx folder and you'll see a file for the thunderclap. Start a new game and laugh as Alduin shouts yay at you.
The problem with the yay echo is that each race has a different length for Fus Ro and the thunderclap will trigger mid shout. I decided just not changing anything would be the better course of action because even a small delay left a gap with some shouts.

I think it fits perfectly. I am not author of the vid.

I.e.
you: FUS! RO! yay...
enemy: lolwut, *dies from fus ro yay*
I have changed my mind and think this would be not as epic, but just as scary, if not more
