    Hey guys
I recently decided to make a new role-play armor suit for a wood-elf character. Contrary to many other fantasy armors, the Bosmer Plain Armor meets the following criteria, so I will be heavily drawing inspiration from it:
-non-fancy: no useless clutter that only makes it expensive and hard to make
-immersive: it's still fantasy, but 'rather' close to actual leather armor, relative to other fantasy armor
-feasible IRL: a) I'm not a combat or armor expert, but I've seen/experienced a few LARP/event/con battles, and this armor, with a few minor tweaks, looks actually useful and wearable IRL (too bad you can only use melee OR bow in most RP setups, and I'm an archer, so I'll run from enemy blades )
    b) Since it's made of several small parts, it's relatively easy to make; more parts means more ways to fix broken or badly crafted parts, and the straps design will be really easy to implement.

I won't do weapons and the quiver though, because I'm not skilled with weapon-crafting and quivers are a pain to make if you want them to be useful. I'll also go lightly on the boots because I want something easy to clean.

Once I get past the planning phase, I'll probably share the process via Pinterest or something and if some of you are interested, I'll update this post with more information.
