Shawkab is taking a vacation from commenting on the Nexus for the next week or so, and will not be able to answer the comment threads here. As such I'm going to be locking the comments on these files so new comments and questions can't be posted (and so you don't think that Shawkab is ignoring you).

Shawkab should be coming back, so try to avoid going hysterical at a lack of communication for a week.

Finished it, definitely liked it. Will endorse as soon as an hour passes and nexus lets me. Besides the note problems I thought it was a really good start. Keep it up. Maybe find other ways to tell clues, it'd be more coding or whatever but would make it more interesting.

Or maybe make the clues harder with an optional hint somewhere (with someone?) so if you really can't find it after an hour, you can fall back on that.

@hrusai I didn't even realize the quest markers were missing, that it probably one of the reasons the quest was so great. You make a good point with the Galdur amulet,I think that the quest markers were designed for the console crowd unfortunately.I dont Know if you have done any of the Bard college quests but if you have you probably know how ridiculous the quest markers are for them.I swear my character has telepathy, and even if the marker isnt enough, there is clarovoyance. Another thing I noticed with that quest(Guldur) is that the reward is anti-climatic. They should really make it harder to enchant because discovering new weapons isnt even exciting when I can just go craft one that is 3 times better. Also, how many times is someones ring going to get stolen and taken to a cave of all places?Maybe when CK comes out we will get more quests like this.

@divinefallacy....yeh right its pretty shocking isnt it, imho this quest is far more gratifying and realistic than most of the other, the rampant usage of quest markers just makes you a funkin super detective god, would be much better if they gave you a vague location instead of an exact pinpoint

i think the best thing about this is having to think about it, similar to cao's goldbrand which is also brilliant, even tho im stuggling through lol its a nice idea to have to tihnk and solve something, and if you cant solve it, you can't do it until you do! makes it feel much more like your uncovering a lost artifact or w/e hunting down clues, POSSIBLE SPOILERS i mean according to the lost legends quest for the gaulder artifact the dude who you get all the clues off in folgunthur (i thnk) spent years tracking down the pieces, then you just swoop in and do it in a couple of days

please add more quests like this for lost artifacts and such like, that would be sooooo sweet, or even really powerful spells or some such....some of the other best quests i did was the master destruction spells stuff similar would be sweeeeeeeet

It is interesting how a modder can produce better material than professional developers. This quest is the only quest that grabbed my attention(other than the Forsworn Conspiracy). Endorsed

this is a brilliant quest, i love quests where you actually gotta think instead of pure hack n slash, the more stuff u do like this the better your brilliant at it, every single quest/questy type thing you've done ive seriously enjoyed!! keep up the great work dude!

my only question is wheres the reward lol

other than the relief of finding it, and the last one didnt make much sense to me lol

oh and try skyedit, making notes and s#*! is easy in that

Heya, I'm thining about it, seems like the people who downloaded it enjoyed it (or at least endorsed it..)

I'm going to try to make a new one, and maybe in my next one i will ask for writers who want to make a story for the next few.. I enjoy making the stories but i ain't very good. will see.

Biggest issue is getting them into the game without issues, like you said yours had clipping issues.. i really wish i had a way of placing them into your backpack or something so to make sure you receive the note etc.. all i can really do is duplicate each note so that instead of just one there is two so that even if one dissappears you can get the next.

that or i might be able to put a knife through the note to force it into place, but that seems to only work half the time, the rest of the time the note just goes flying..

Another issue is i have to modify notes that are already in the game, not really that big of a deal though because all i am modifying is recipes that people only use once then throw away.. When CK comes out i will make tons of these though.
