is it only me or is the bookshelves supposed to not work? The extra book storage was one of the things i wanted (without having to sacrifice the armory), so plz help
thank you for making the balcony room into something useful instead of the hoarders room bethesda gave us! makes if feel USEFUL =] good layout tho i think the room deviders and middle book case are gonna get deleted....silly NPCs keep getting stuck walking into them and, IMO, feels cramped around the table(if only there was an extra 2-3 feet of depth to the room! =[ ). still getting my endorsement tho! so nice not having a completly useless room back there
The other method of deleting/disabling manually is, in CK, list all the PRID of objects in the storage room into a batch file, and then add disable (I prefer this) or markfordelete before the id. You then upload this batch file (it's text, not .bat) for everyone to use.
...and yet another mod by jecoil that will vastly improve Lakeview! This looks really well done.
To Squashnoggin and others: If you first go through the room to be changed and 'markfordelete' everything you see (careful you don't delete the walls or floor!), then you'll have a clean slate for jecoil's mods. It's tons easier than trying to remove things after it's installed. I just hate losing some of my trophies. Oh well, I'll just have to go hunting again. :o)
I think I will be thanking you... I hated that, to get a deck on the back of the house, I had to have a "useless, cluttered, designed-by-an-obvious-Hoarder" room beneath it! (Of course, there IS a mod with a deck and pool, which makes the back deck obsolete, but...anyway ) The layout of the Hearthfires homes is seriously flawed, IMO, anyways..but, thanks for helping to fix the mistakes. I just wish there was a way to 'tear down' the parts of the house you no longer want, so you can replace them with something else. (other than starting over from a save-game just prior to your build, which I invariably forget to make! ;p ) DL'ing now, endorsing later! thanks!

my question is: when are you gonna do the same for the other 2 hearthfire houses Heljarchen Hall & Windstad Manor?

EDIT: in CK it's not easy to find the objects in that north room, with hundreds of objects jammed in that single space.
BTW, downloading this.
