Yes, the note should have appeared automatically. It would be called "Whisper's LONG" Letter" You should be able to type 'help whisper 4' in the console (without the quotes) and see all of the whisper books and the note listed, so you can do a player.additem <letter's ID> to force-add it to your inventory. IIRC, there are other items/places/etc., with 'whisper' in their titles, so you may have to use PG UP and PG DOWN to scroll through the list until you find it.
I'm having a small bit of difficulty with the object placement at the moment, but I am currently working on an update to this mod which would deliver a different variant of the letter, a less-powerful shiv. and scatter the books among the respective longhouses/palaces to allow for a bit more 'adventure' in finding them.
Yes - used the tutorial stats for the vorpal sword, thinking "cool - a vorpal shiv"...but had only play-tested the mod with a 40+ level character who was pretty damaging with a normal shank, so I didn't really notice that much difference. Just tried the mod (and some others I downloaded) tonight on a fresh lvl 1 and you're right...far too god-like. Going to scale it back and upload a new version soon.
You know it. Already planning other books for Whisper to author. If I ever figure out how to make Whisper as a follower, thinking of packaging the books inside the inventory as an all-in-one.
Nice, this character you have created behind the books, sounds a lot like a Varys type character from game Game of Thrones, the Master of Whispers. Great idea. This is a great extra instead having to go to Wiki page to find out all those pesky favour/radiant quests.
