I had the same invisible weapon / no sound problem as everyone else but after following the instructions in other posts I've managed to get the model to show up. Still no sound or firing effect though, and when used in first person the gun blocks most of the screen. I put the sound folder in Skyrim/sound/fx/aliensmodSOUNDS, is there a step I've missed here? It's been installed using Mod Organizer if that changes anything.
Really cool mod so far, but I have a question. I added the gun and 300 rounds to my inv and equipped them, the when I press the button to fire the gun points and does nothing. I release the button and I hear a burst, see the fire effect and 1 ammo is used up, and my character reloads. Is this working as intended? Also, the gun seems to miss 80% of the time. I suspect I've installed something wrong but not sure.
Nevermind, got it working right. If used with the mod "Modern Firearms", you have to properly install that first, then this, and the .ESPs in that order too.
