For those who wonder if it works with Special Edition, it does, but you need to extract the content of the BSA file (use your BSA favorite extractor, or look one up here on nexus, there is plenty). When you extracted all the content into teh data folder, delete the TDP Test Mod.bsa file.
Now, while it works gameplay wise, Anebriate and any NPC made for this mod will have uneven colors of theri faces and bodies, wich is fixable even by sloths with the Powerglove, a broken Powerglove.
Open creation kit, then select the TDP Test Mod.esp and load it. Once it has loaded, all you need to do, is to simply save. YES, simply save, nothing else. Ignore the warnins that coems up, thats normal, jsut save and ignore the warnings, then launch the game after you activated the plugin, and trhere you go! Now you can take Anebriate on your adventures (After you done his qquest ofcorse).
So you received over $2000 to create this mod yet it's been 2 years and you haven't completed one kickstarter goal, and there's nothing behind the character besides random idle comments and it seems you abandoned the project pretty quickly after it went live and decided to come back and make a few bug fixes and call it a day. I would be pissed if I was a backer on that project and would probably ask for a refund.
Hello, I can only summise that real life is consuming more time than they would like, that said knowing now that they were Paid for this, I agree with your statement, just saying And its a shame too just going on the images , that made me laugh o.O
You're right, it's a bummer. Ultimately, the funds gained from the project were intended to fund the studio recording equipment for the voice actor (who is not me), but we had intended to do a lot more once we realized we had exceeded that goal. However, about 3/4 of the way through the original project, I lost everything due to a bug in my mod files, and I had to start from scratch and do it all again.
That said, the money received from the mod has gone back into community projects like this one, as well as charities, game artists and indie developers trying to get started. I only just recently reached the end of that Kickstarter money, and I never received a dime of it personally. I'm very grateful that people have been forgiving of the lack of stretch goals, because I just can't bring myself to touch this toolset again after having such a terrible time with it.
And to be fair, there's still well over a hundred lines of dialogue. At the time of making it (and probably still), it was considerably more than any other follower in the original game.
I love this mod, especially when combine with Throthgar it has never been so fun to just run around and explore, i just have one thing that i don't like about him....his voice....he sounds like he is holding a massive dump inside him and is about to explode xD nevertheless, he is awesome, endorsed
Hey dudes, sorry, kind of lost track of this project for a while and forgot to check the comments here. I didn't know about the weird cell issue in Black-Briar Meadery. I think I used some kind of tool way back to check for issues, and it probably tried to fix it in the manner described below without my realizing.
I'm gonna try to get a fix up for a couple of things before too long, including possible reasons it doesn't play well with other followers, so hang tight for me.
Well, I went into the Creation Kit and fixed the Black-Briar Meadery (as far as I can tell), moving the objects back from its duplicate cell back, and rerouting the door. I could upload the plugin if anyone wants to use it. It fixed the problem for me, at least.
Just confirmed via the Creation Kit that this mod does some serious damage to the Black-Briar Meadery cell. It takes a chunk of the wall out of the normal cell, and then attempts to replace all references to that cell with a duplicate that consists of an infinite void and one single corner.
