Grungy version is absolutely forthcoming, I'm about 2/3rds of the way through it right now. I have the exterior finished, abandoned shack portion done, and 1 of the 2 basement levels completed. I'll add a link to it once I get it ready to go.
Combine this mod with "Prides of Skyrim" and you'll have a very fun challenge gaining access to the home. Give both a try together and see what I mean.
I like the idea a lot, though given the theme I'd say it needs to be more "hidden" exterior-wise, and as to the inside, it should appear as a standard abandoned home, with the actual safehouse hidden underground via secret/concealed door, which also has safeguards from nosy adventurers. At that point the safehouse could evolve into an elaborate underground sanctuary. Anyway, sorry to hijack your mod with that.
This is a good idea. So many of the house mods just throw everything at you, and really you just need a place to crash sometimes. You might consider making it a little more worn down (just a suggestion), like it's not very well maintained. Thieves generally aren't worried about cleaning up.
