So for the sake of giggles I opened this mod up in Creation Kit and got some info I'd been curious about and figured I'd share with everyone here, also, mod author might want to drop this info in the description.
Each ring has been moved to unused (in base Skyrim) equip slots, each different ring has a different slot, so I'll list which rings have which slots
So...basically the rings only work if they're from these eight different types? Also, does this render it impossible for the mod to restore the proper icons for the rings?
Plus, I'm not certain, but I feel pretty sure my Silver Ring changed into a Silver Ruby Ring.
Ive noticed that only a gold ring, which is in its proper place in the slots, only show up on my hand. Any way to fix this so i can have more on other fingers?
It's been awhile since you asked, don't know if it's still relevant, but this has been addressed in other mods, and I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work here: "Q: Swappable rings and bracelets is arrsome. But how come I can't see them in first person?
A: For them to be visible in first person, you have to edit your race for slots 44, 50, 54, 56, and 60 to be visible. IJ doesn't come shipped this way because of compatibility issues. For a quick fix, though, you can use this guy's mod: Gamefever's 1st person items visible" - From FAQ's of Immersive Jewelry (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64283)
Can you make an option to allow the user to wear multiple rings of the same base type? Realistically anyone can wear more than one gold ring if they chose too, therefore I think it would be more immersive to allow the user to do this.
Also, Is this mod compatible with Hunterborn rings? In the hunterborn mod you can craft bone rings. The reason I ask this is because I downloaded unlimited rings and amulets mod and it changed the names of the bone rings to symbols.
Had an issue with vampire eyes not being displayed properly. After hours of browsing through my mod list enabling/disabling stuff, to my humongous surprise I found out that this mod is the issue. For some god known reason, the ring mod breaks vampire eyes. Go figure.
have base game only fully up to date, this mod works for me but there is a name bug i found "silver ring" is got the name "silver ruby ring" witch i was able to go in & edit to its proper name but was rather annoying seeing i was able to equip 2 ruby rings i was like WTF? than i noticed ya 1 was just a nomral silver ring lol
