    Excuse me, the shield is invisible to me, I have already read the posts but it doesn't help me, I'm a Breton vampire this is all I can think what is causing the problem. my version is 1.26 if you can help it I'll be thankful.

      Thanks for the report. I've updated the mod to version 1.27. Somehow the shield was set to display for Breton Vampire children instead of standard Breton Vampires.

    The shield seems to be incredibly big, so it looks way too big on the back of my character. Is there any way i can change the scale of it to match the one of the hylian shield?

      You can change the scale using NifSkope. Select the BSFadeNode, change the number associated with scale, then right-click the BSFadeNode and select the Apply from the Transform menu.

      I'm using Mod Manager, so i assume i have to change the values of the meshes in Mod Organizer\Mods\Relics of Hyrule?
      I did just that and saved them all, yet the size of them in game stays the same. What am i doing wrong?

      Honestly, I ca'n't give a concrete answer as I don't use any mod managers. If there are files in your main Skyrim data/meshes/armor folder, those are the ones I'd suggest modifying. But again, I'm not sure.

      I found out how to do it!

      The problem was, BSfadeNode alone didn't do the trick, i had to change the scale of the NiTriShade.
      The only problem i'm having now is trying to center it properly. That's easier said than done.

    Hey just want to say that i love your mod but for some resaon the textures are not showing up ingame. the sheilds appear that purple gloss that you see when there are no textures to go with the mesh. Im not sure why its doing this now because it has worked in the past for me just thought i should let you know. btw im using the newest version 1.25

      Ah, the reason is 1.25 doesn't have the textures in it. I recommend installing an old version and installing 1.25 after it. Or 1.26, since that will be up very soon.

    can this work with dual sheath on custom modded armors

      Dual Sheath Redux functions regardless of the armor, as it utilizes a custom skeleton that changes where the shield is placed when not in use.

    Love the idea for this mod, but it looks kinda plasticy. It doesn't feel like a mirror/metal shield, but a plastic prop of one. Still really good though, that's the only complaint I have about the mod.

    Hey I'm kinda new here and I had a question about this awesome mod. I've been playing around with it a lot because I love the OoT Mirror Shield and I have one little annoyance and was wondering if it could be addressed either via console command or something? When the shield is on my back with the Dual Sheath Redux patch it's kind of...nudged downwards to the right. It's not aligned with the sheathed sword. Is that normal? And is there a way to edit it to make it aligned with the sword?

      The Dual Sheath Redux meshes were a little outdated. I've updated them to be centered.

      Sweet thanks! It looks a lot better now and it's not driving my OCD crazy lol. I think it might just be the sword I'm using now making it look too high on my back. I'll fiddle with some other swords and see.

      EDIT: So I checked, it's not my swords... Is it another problem on my end? I don't want to be nitpicky and make you edit things all over again I was just wondering :o Also, here's a pic of what I'm talking about http://imgur.com/VgArsy4
      Like I said it's just a minor annoyance, but one of the biggest reasons I'm playing skyrim right now is to see your epic shield on my back as I explore

      No, that's still the Dual Sheath Redux mesh and a bit of a side effect of the shield's size.
      I'd rather not change it again, since it is such a minor issue.

    I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but I have an issue that when my character becomes a vampire, either of the mirror shields are visible, yet I can still use them. Is there a fix for that?

      Hmm...I know I fixed that. Did you install 1.22 and the alternate .esp, or just the alternate .esp?
      Because 1.22 contains the meshes.

      I see. I'm probably just using an older version of the mod. Let me download the latest one and try it out.

      *EDIT: Nope, updated all files, turns out I was using v1.22 (latest version) the whole time. Used alternate .esp and issue persists.

      Are there any older versions that work for Vampires?

      One of the first bug reports I got was that the shield wasn't appearing on Breton vampires, so I went in and made sure the shields worked on all vampires.
      I may have missed one that I just ca'n't find, so what race are you using?

      Let's see, Nord Vampire. CBBE w/body slide. XP32 Skeleton. I'd imagine those are the only things that would affect the shield. Enhanced Character Edit maybe. The Hylian Shield works just fine as a Vampire.

      It turns out the Nord Vampire was the ONLY race not included. Derp. I've fixed it now.

      Aw, it only works for the Gerudo version. The Crescent Moon shield still has the same problem.

      Wait...the crescent shield should be working. I'm looking at the .esp right now and it's enabled for Nord Vampires. I'll try remaking the .rar archive and uploading it. Maybe I put the wrong version in there.

      That last one you uploaded, I tested Crescent Heavy and Light, nether one worked, but Gerudo Heavy and Light did work.

      I've uploaded the newest version. The one I had was some sort of in-between version, after I had fixed the Gerudo shield but before I fixed the Moon shield. Whoops. It should be fine now.

    I went through Anvilsund, and found one of the shields. The preview showed nothing and when I equip it, it's invisible on my character.
    It might be because I have both the shield and the infinite switching between heavy and light files on simultaneously, or because my character is a Ningheim race mod. Any ideas on this situation?

      It's probably the fact that your character is a Ningheim. In Creation Kit, pieces of armor have to be enabled for each race, and the Ningheim are custom, so the shield isn't enabled for them.
      If you didn't replace the .esp with the infinite switching one that isn't exactly good, but all it would do is make extra recipes for switching the shield, it wouldn't affect the meshes.

    in addition to the "fixed" (meaning the one nintendo altered) shield still being all shiny, i also found that i am no longer able to use the smelter after changing one shield. i have one light and one heavy, and i wanted both light (well, one really to hang as a decoration in my house).

      I prefer to call one the Moon Mirror shield and the other the Gerudo Mirror shield to keep them straight.
      I've uploaded a fix for the smelter recipes and back mesh issues.

    I tried using this with Dual sheath redux and whenever I have it on my back I will have the shield on my back but it has no textures but still keeps the shiny effect. Do you know how to fix this?

      I looked at the meshes and they're pointing to the wrong folder for textures. I'll upload a fix soon.
