maybe a stupid question but is this the same thing as ENBhelper? i got lead here from the ENB enhanced shaders and this is one of the directions to install it correctly, but i'm not liking the comments i'm seeing from people on here about how it's messing up their game and that you can't seem to uninstall it? i'd be very grateful for a response, thanks
it seems there is no way to uninstall this. "savegame 1190.31.05" became "savegame 000.19.21" this mod reset my total play time and with my limited knowledge, I couldn't revert the file =(
Um, OK, maybe I should have read a bit more... The helper plugin was added in 226, so I'd say that would be preferable...
Version 0.226: Added support for external helper plugin which replace helper mod functionality, so per weather setting are now available. Download it from http://alexander.sannybuilder.com
Great work ! It's so amaizing what you manage to add to this game. This make such things as Opethfeldt ENB possible and it make Skyrim look so beautifull, thanks for that. I'm not sur it's possible but, is there a way to make this detect Night Vision uses ? If it is, it would be a great add, giving the ENB the control of that visual effect and giving us a way to fix one of the biggest problem ENB have. (sorry for my poor english skills)
Temporal AA turns itself off after a while. This always seems to happen in interiors, but not right away - it happens only after I have been in an interior for a few minutes. To fix it I have to save, close Skyrim, disable ENBRef, restart Skyrim, load, save, close Skyrim, enable ENBRef, restart Skyrim, load. And after all that it just turns itself off again after another few minutes.
Having some problems with this one. While it works perfectly outdoors, the indoor lighting is completely messed up. Here's a sample pic:

Same for dungeons etc. Anyone an idea what's causing this? Any incompatibilities? I'm using Somber ENB with the newest 0.193 enbseries.dll. I tried uninstalling Darker Dungeons for ENB, but that didn't do anything. No lighting mods installed, other than Real Effect Candle.
I experienced similar issues while using 2.3, and then switched to 2.2. With that i didn't see any unintended darkness in the interiors, however it still has the texture loading issues. (I may go back to my original version that was packaged with K ENB, since that one didn't have the load issue, and I don't think K is utilizing all the newer features anyways)
Edit: Oddly enough, after writing this i got a weirdly dark room. Back to the one i started with!
This lighting glitch MIGHT be caused by Time of day (TOD), but I'm not absolutely certain of that. When TOD is enabled it changes lighting in interior cells (it follows daytime/nighttime settings AND oddly sunrise/sunset settings even if ther are no such parameters for interiors.). Switch off TOD and the lighting is back to normal. Anyways that's what I'm experiencing.
From what I've heard of the mod just places an invisible mesh around the character so ENB knows what is around the character. The information that the mod gets is then used in ENBs different variables to create certain effects. Or something lol
With ALL mods, you really should create save backups when installing a new mod. Just to be safe...
I've always loved the effects that a good enb adds but the new versions have blown me away. I started using the enb reference and, since it's scripted, don't want to remove it from my load order. I'm wondering what is the oldest enb version that this esp can be used with? K enb uses .168; will it work with that? If I do use an older enb, such as .119, will it really mess things up or will it still be safe? Thanks a lot for all the hard work!

how can a modder put a scripted mod that doesnt have uninstallation instructions?!
now im afraid my game is crashing because of this little mod since i uninstalled ENB and this mod with it, and i need assistance.
i should have known better than to install a scripted mod with no uninstallation instructions and no modder support :-\
can anyone help?

this mod will not compromise your gameplay if you are not using ENB,i wouldnt unistall.
i am not using ENB (computer too weak for ENB) and this mod doesnt nothing but encumber my game with scripts :\
but i dont assume this mod effects any type of visual changes what so ever to vanilla skyrim, right?
If you want to unistall this (or any other mod that uses scripts) you need to clean your save-game to get rid of the scripts.
No worries, you will not loose any save data.
