Blocking still sucks. I take a s#*! ton of damage despite upgrading it to level 30.

I've looked for something that does blocking like this mod does and I couldn't find it anywhere for SSE, because I had plenty of other combat mods that would have conflicted with this platform as a whole.
For anyone like me that's looking for a more realistic blocking mechanic, the ESP in this mod "Realistic blocking" works perfectly with SSE, no need to convert anything or do anything.

If you could re-upload it to the SSE nexus as simply a blocking modifier that would help a lot of people because there really isn't a single alternative out there for realistic blocking mechanics.

This Mod is... wow. Those Battleaxes are now something to fear. They liturally kill you in 1 hit. Though blocking does nothing. I dont even need to block. Im just dead.

So i realised something, im not sure if it's the same for anyone else. But the increased damage to the weapons dont just affect mine, but the weapons the enemy's are using as well, pretty much resulting in a 1 hit unless you block the damage (im playing on legendary difficulty). To some degree i enjoy the challenge because its a new level of difficulty, i just wasnt expecting it

With difficulty mods, people usually lower the vanilla difficulty settings. Often, they set vanilla difficulty to adept. I haven't tried this particular mod and it also depends on the other mods you're using, but just an FYI.

Why bows are so imbalanced? No matter do you wear light or heavy armor, you'll die in 1-2 shots instantly. This mod ruins warrior/mage-builds, all you have to do just be an archer and one-shot everyone you see. I want to be a heavy armor two handed orc-warrior with dwemer armor, but all I get is a one-shot kill from a bandit with wooden self bow and iron arrows. You don't want to install this mod, unless you're playing archer. Otherwise your gaming experience will be ruined by a single archer no matter what is his level and equipment, you get killed almost instantly. Yes, there is a perk in blocking skill tree, which allows you to block incoming arrows, but it is not useful, because shield doesn't cover all of your body and when you press the block you become very slow, therefore it becomes pointless, because you get hit by way more arrows meaning you still get 90% chance of getting one-shot killed. It's all about shields, they still some kind of useful against archers but what you can say about two-handed? Nothing. You get no advantages from using it, which means this mod is fun and useful for archer players not the warriors/mages.

I'm tacking on to this. I just took my Smith, Full dwarven, exquisite tier gear, into a dwarven ruin at level 12. 263 armor rating, 170 hp. EVERY SINGLE ARCHER FALMER was a damn bane on my existence. We're talking one shots at full health, EVERY TIME. What in the goddamn is the point of covering myself head to toe in fine dwarven steel if it does f*#@ ALL.

Why it not works with Dragonborn weapons such as Bloodskal?
