Any tips on how to set up OneTweak for skyrim? I tried the troubleshooting, changed the foreground priority, tried it with 2 and 3, it failed both times
There are a number or borderless window mods and judging by the comments section all of them have some sort of issue. So it seems there really is not a perfect solution. I tried this one and it does do what it says it will do, borderless windows. I wanted to mitigate stuttering in in my game and read that running the game in windowed mode can help. The problem is the difference in stuttering and fps gain I got was near negligible, not the fault of the mod. Also, I found the in game display settings such as brightness and such had no effect when I tried to adjust them in addition to, I am guessing, the game defaults the the monitor color settings. The game has more contrast when using this mod not a bad look though. Not positive about that though. So mostly because windowed mode did not give me the performance gain I wanted I uninstalled.
However, this mode does work though not perfect. Also, its not going to break your game like some have said. I uninstalled and its fine. Just use a mod manager and you'll be OK.
*If your using ENB you may as will use that programs windowed mode instead, again like all of the solutions it has potential glitches too i.e. alt tab does not work in some cases.
It worked perfectly fine for me. In fact, it functioned where AutoHotKey couldn't. It allowed me to more easily lower my DPI. I didn't strictly need a borderless window, but it makes Windows Magnifier so much easier to set up. With a lower DPI, I get a big speed boost, and I also get to retain my 1600 by 900 resolution, all while Skyrim uses a resolution of 801 by 450. The end result scales up like full screen if you do it right, and Skyrim can be an inactive window without problems. The only real issue with a low DPI like this is not being able to see the sneak eye very well, but that can be fixed with the SkyHUD mod. Just note that SkyHUD is configured within a TXT in the mod folder.
f*** this mod please take this s*** off, it destroyed my game and i have to reinstall everything. For the creator, you cannot say we messed something up when if we uninstall your mod, it destroys our game
Just remove the mod via MO, NMM, Vortex or manually, delete your "SkyrimPrefs.ini" and run the game launcher again for automatic reconfiguration. All settings revert back to the base game.
You dont need this mod or extra tweaks in your skyrim ini or prefs ini.Follow this rule.If you have enb or ENB BOOST,open enblocal.ini and change those to TRUE EASY VOILLA.Dont forget give me some kudos on my page ) [WINDOW] ForceBorderless=false ForceBorderlessFullscreen=false
I hate this mod so f*cken much. When I first installed it and used it, i said to myself that i didnt need this mod and deleted it. but now everytime i launch skyrim, it always has a CRT error and messes up my Steam Workshop mods. So i went over to Nexus Mod Manager and got an error. it said it was missing the data file or something like that. i feel like the only way to fix this is to uninstall the game and reinstall. i really dont want to do that because then I'll have to reinstall all my mods and its such a pain in the a**.
This mod is a single dll file - a SKSE plugin - it cannot cause such things you write about, ie. you messed-up something and blame my mod - great idea.
Holy shet, I wouldn't believe this comment, but this happened to me too. I had slow but stable game with many mods, looking for more solutions to make alt-tab quicker and since I installed this (and then unistalled)with MO, game crashes after "Continue".

Don't download this. It will just destroy your game, and you will have to reinstall it.
The real mod, that works, is called ONE TWEAK. This one here is broken (maybe because it is old)
This mod modifies original files of your game, making it crash completely (badly designed mod)
When you uninstall it, some of your CORE GAME FILES ARE GONE.
I am reinstalling my 50 mods + skyrim, that was working just fine, because of this..
