Version 2.0a (FoS+3) Doesnt affect RACE so its more compatible.
Version 1.0a (Fist of Steel goes to level 3)

Please view the readme to check the scaling, I suggest to see it in TXT form (the tabs work that way)

This mod works even better with one of the mods that converts Dragon Souls into perk points and other things. The one im using is Dragon Soul Relinquishment (mostly because is the one with the most customization and work)

Too bad this isn't being updated anymore... would have LOVED to see this get a Requiem Patch. Hey... may I have the permission to use this mod and create a Requiem Patch for it?

Great idea and was a lot of fun to use, you have my endorse!

My only problem with it was I felt like having Unarmed damage scale with 1H/2H/Archery/Smithing... AND your amount of dragon souls... AND your level... made it so the Unarmed damage went up too quickly and I was pretty overpowered after a while of playing. I would've liked to be able to configure what gave me a bonus, or maybe have the option to turn off the scaling with combat skills and just scale from souls and level. But I suppose if you're okay with punching things dead in 1 hit after about 20 levels or so, this mod works great.

Hmm... this could prove quite useful for my new unarmed assassin. XD

Will the bonuses just show up in the active effects window?

1 quick question: do khajiit still get their claw bonus? Too many unarmed mods want to modify the only real bonus khajiit get.

I don't see any reports of incompatibilities with race mods so I'm assuming that you've had some experiences on your own ?
If that's the case I'm wondering if the 2.0 version which affects races is compatible with Excellent Racials ?

Im using ERSO module 01 which makes some changes to vanilla races. It was incompatible.

Version 2.0 doesnt affect them. And while I havent used Excellent Racials it should be compatible, let me go check.

Yep, I did a small checking and V2.0 its compatible, thats the reason I did the change. So good that I caught that, now if you use it you wont have nay problems with the mods interfering.

P.S: sorry if I wasnt clear on what V2.0 does.

Hmm, I never play unarmed, but I might try it with this. I like the whole idea that simply collecting the dragon souls increases your power. Nice touch.

so if I read that right (which I probably didn't lol) taking 1h, 2h and or archery Up's you're unarmed dmg.. so as a true monk (sort of) taking archery as a back up OR two handed for stafs (which a lot of mods have) you can up you're dmg and stam. That about right?

Stamina depends on Dragon Souls owned.

For the skills there is a single and a combined way:
Leveling 1H can give you up to 10 more points in Unarmed.
Leveling 2H can give you up to 10 more points in Unarmed.
Leveling Archery can give you up to 10 more points in Unarmed.
Leveling Smithing can give you up to 10 more points in Unarmed.

Each time your skills 1H and 2H and Archery reach 10 you get 1 more point of unarmed (its a small bonus but encouraging to use other skills too) So it would be like:
1H reached 10 (first step of the single bonus) you get 1 point of unarmed.
2H reached 10 (first step of the single bonus) you get 1 point of unarmed.
Archery Reached 10 (first step of the single bonus) you get 1 point of unarmed.
Smithing Reached 10 (first step of the single bonus) you get 1 point of unarmed.

You would get 4 more points of unarmed plus...

Since you have 1H and 2H and Archery to 10 you get another 1 more point of unarmed.

Then if you got lets say Archery to level to 30 (next step of the scaling for this) you get 1 more unarmed. But since is the only skill of the combined that has reached that point (30) you wont get more unarmed points until you get the other skills (1H and 2H) to that point too.

I hope this clarifies things x_x

it does, how ever I was also wondering about the dragon souls owned, now I am trying to understand what you mean there do they have to be Un-spent? or can they have been invested into shouts/other things? basically I have been looking for a good hand to hand mod because all the ones I have seen either don't work right or don't use decent ways to immerse into the game and stacking/glitching is not an option.

Kekekeke... They have to be unspent *evil grin

The lore idea is that your body gets stronger due to the infusion of draconic energies. So to me it didnt make sense that you get to keep your bonus once you used the souls.

In case you get to use a mod that changes those dragon souls into perks and such, this will make you think a bit if to use them or wait a bit more. Its about balancing.
