Mod caused the problem, that ALL normal Sabre Cats in the game turned invisible - they were there with sounds and attacks, but you couldnt see them. (It was no textures problem, since I tried new Sabre Cat textures when I first encountered the problem and they didn't help - only deactivating the mod [in Nexus Mod Manager] solved it instantly]).
This is probably a long shot but I feel that the death of Dro'Rabi was planned by someone in the embassy. Balgruuf maybe sent the assassins?
Balgruuf suddenly had to meet with someone called the dragonborn a day before the meeting that Dro went to that got him killed on his way there.Dro didn't know who that was and didn't think their importance would be nessesary to the relationship of Skyrim and Elsweyr, which obviously means that the dragonborn has no status in elsweyr so isn't exactly a good representative of the natives Elsweyr (unless you rp your dragonborn is a khajiit, such as mine, but still all status is built in skyrim).
Suddenly after Dro's death the Dragonborn is selected as new ambassador despite no one in the embassy knowing who they are except for Balgruuf. And think about it,it was assasins, someone clearly wanted Dro dead.Otherwise it would of been any other bandit or animal attack. And why would the dragonborn be useful as an ambassador, they wouldnt not really. At least not in the same way that Dro'Rabi was. Odds are that if the dragons first appeared in skyrim, the DB would not be known from elsweyr as they only gained status from skyrim. I feel that maybe Balgruuf felt that a simple khajiit wasn't enough to contain relationships and needed someone with power and status within skyrim itself to be beneficial , someone like the dragonborn. Someone who potentially is Thane of alot of holds, Leader's of guilds and a skilled in the art of war and magic. That can literally slay a dragon alone. Someone like that would have alot of influence on the higher powers of skyrim.
But that's just my though. Maybe i just made up a story that was never there in the first place. DB= Dragonborn (just incase anyone thinks it stand for Dark Brotherhood)
Hey Im a khajiit in the game and i've always wanted a khajiit wife can you tell me which ones are marriage candidates? Thanks, and keep up the good work :-)
Any Khajiit follower that does not have a Khajiit voice can be married. So the companion (male), the assassin, the thief, the nightingale (male), the twin archers out front, and the college of winterhold mage girl on the porch. The dawnguard member (male) in the dawnguard version can also be married.
