Unfortunately I'm getting a CTD too when I try to enter the portal :/
I've tried this with my original skyrim.ini pasting in the bBorderRegionsEnabled=0 part, as well as downloading the one you have here as an optional file, both result in a CTD, unfortunately.
That is strange, because that portal (the one from inside the Nord Toomb) should lead you into a cell, not outside. I would suggest you try the command (~): coc bastioninside
This should het you directly in, if it's the same effect, then I have no clue what might be the issue, unless there is a correlation between the other doors, placed there, that lead outside Skyrim's border.
I think it's the game that is causing you issues not the mod. I have seen this on other PC's. Maybe try to see if the ini file has something not set up correctly.
You could try to disable the mod first and see if you can go over the border with the modified ini file.
Hi: When you say '...Bastion futures a mod...' and '...not found one mod that futures Easter Eggs..' don't you mean instead FEATURES? Because for people with little English can be quite confusing... Keep up the good work.
