   just do it so it requires a broom to make the broom weapon and for the staff version do it so it requires a broom and a grand soul gem

   Just tried to give this to a companion and it turned back into a daedric warhammer Is there a fix for this, wanted to travel with a band of followers, one being a maid with the broom. It comes up as a broom on my character but on companions it switches back to the original image.

   How powerful is this broom?
   
   I'm still waiting on the two-handed swimming noodle weapon that hits for like a half point of damage or something. You want a challenge? Kill a dragon with a foam swim noodle. In the meantime, if the broom's not too powerful, this could serve as an alternative.
