   I'd suggest also adding levels to the perk, like this mod does. Unarmed needs all the boosts it can get.

   or if you want to do your own thing, you could make it so the damage is based on the gauntlet's actual armor rating instead of the base one. I don't know if it's possible due to engine limitations, though.
