The textures do look very low quality, quite jarring against all the lovely high res tex packs most of us have installed. Perhaps you could link us to a few of the source pics? So people understand it's a design intent.
I don't know if you are still modding or not, but I would really love to see this done with better resolution of textures and mesh. As it currently stands, compared to the screenshot you provided for us of the original drain seeker (a weapon I was most fond of in dark cloud/chronicle), it looks rather flat textured, plain and not exactly matching the original picture (especially with the hilt textures, they look to be made of a light bone than the picture's darkened bone colours). The model is close, sure, but without the right textures it does appear quite as if made out of plastic. You also have a little bit of clipping where the crossguard meets the handle (it's noticable on your second screenshot). I can also agree that the weapon size may need to be altered to make it more suitable as a one handed sword (granted, the original sword is intended to be a hand and a half sword (both Toan and Monica highlight this in how they swing the weapons... Toan swings it one handed while Monica clearly swings it two handed, but both times their hands fit the handle perfectly) so some resizing may be required to make it fit easier).
I hope you come back and check over your released weapons and fix them up where needed, I'm looking forward to using them personally.
i cant find that weapon, i already passed the brotherhood quest so all there is at there base is rubble and a weird red exclamation mark i need help, me want that sword :3
2h only would be best i think & also add some age to it, maybe some cracks along the blade & it has to have more detail, looks like its made from plasticine. Try looking at some Final Fantasy swords Because it reminds me of them specially Cloud Strifes.

I'm going to be creating a two-handed version of this sword, so you can stay tuned for that. I'm working on getting some high res normal bakes into my low res models so that I can get good detail without all the polys
all in all it looks good, the blade does look a little low in quality versus some of the other weapon packs but sometimes with hand done things it happens, perhaps clean it up a bit and make a little more HQ version and some wearing and should be a solid weapon for people to use. The blade does look a tad big for a one hander maybe reduce it's size down a touch and should be good to go. Gj none the less.

All the textures are hand painted in Photoshop, so some dissimilarities are imminent.
I hope you come back and check over your released weapons and fix them up where needed, I'm looking forward to using them personally.

Try looking at some Final Fantasy swords Because it reminds me of them specially Cloud Strifes.

I'm going to adjust the size of the One Handed version, then add in a Two Handed version so that users can get both with the same weapon.
