   This is the only retexture i can find for the Nordic carved set... and yet only has a few endorsements and very little downloads... are people playing skyrim with the god awful vanilla textures???

   simply awesome, put together with better shaped weapons and it is almost perfect. Thanks for the awesome texture improvement.

   ... This is not your fault, but the base-bethesda textures and meshes are lazy work though...

      I agree with you there. Also, look at the Nordic Greatsword and the Nordic Sword. The 1 handed looks awful (to me anyway) but the greatsword the blade looks more like what you'd think a Nordic sword would look like. Not a wierd Katana with a waffle maker design on the top.

      true, nordic sword is beyond terrible, it literally looks like a katana pressed into a waffle maker. The texture from the side makes it look like weapon has some width due to the tapering at the edges, ho boy, thing turned out to be paper thin.
