Finally got some decent pics up of each of the crowns on Argonians and Khajiit. As I said they were not reworked for them, they were just ticked to be allowed so there is some clipping but my husband and I still like them. Some better than others but at this time this is what I've got.

Okay for reasons unknown to me my computer refuses to actually let me use blender like it should. I can open the program and make things completely from scratch (or I could if I possessed such talent) but it absolutely will not allow me to import anything into it. I can easily run the newest edition of it but you can't work with Skyrim stuff in the latest version and it won't run the older version very well at all. *sigh*

And for those curious I have made certain the mod is clean in TES5Edit and it has shown no errors or dirty files or conflicts or anything so if you have previously downloaded this you're good and if you were wary of doing so, don't be, it's all good. Thanks for your patience and advice and concerns.

    Hope you enjoy.

    ^_^

Edit: Since "I've checked the mod in TES5Edit" isn't descriptive enough I've run the check for errors function and I've cleaned it using the remove identical to masters function and Madrias has put it through it's paces and it has come up clean. If that isn't good enough then I'm not sure what is. Enjoy the mod.

Also I've finally gotten at least one decent pic up of it on a beast. It's using a custom texture for daedric so there is a demo that that works perfectly as well.

    ^_^

However, to those looking to try this mod, please use the "Check for Errors" function. Although the author's reassurance that he made the merged ESP by hand is somewhat comforting, it's not comforting enough to guarantee a lack of errors.

For further reassurance, I just passed it through TES5Edit and hit it with just about everything it had. Nothing came up. This mod is clean.

Is it possible to add these items with the console? (via playeradditem etc), if so what are their form ids?
    Thanks.

What's the word on this and PerMa? I just finished writing a post regarding the compatibility of the original mod with PerMa, since it was responsible for the null pointer error that I was getting with the patcher. Also TES5Edit was spitting out a ton of errors when I was checking the original mod files for cleaning. Is this esp safe to use?

EDIT: For shame, I did not read your sticky post first lol. Thanks for the hard work I'll give this a shot with the patcher at some point in one of my next playthroughs (totally burnt out dealing with null pointer errors today...)

Hello, I have some trouble installing this mod. I read your description that we should only download the meshes folder of Pnkrd's original mod. That means that I would have to download that manually, right? May you explain to me what exactly do I need to do? I'm sorry, I'm still new when it comes to adding things without NMM.

Because as it stands, when I download your mod; I see the crowns in the crafting list and as an item. However when I equip them, they are invisible which I guess means that they are lacking the visible files themselves. When I downloaded Pnkrd's AIO 2.5A mod and disabled all the Esps and then downloaded your mod, there are 2 of each crown, which I know is not intended. Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

Download this and use "Add Mod From File" to install it through NMM. All I did was replace all of the individual ESPs in Pnkrd's original mod with the single ESP of this mod. Tadah - craftable, visible crown helmets. Enjoy!

I'm really sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Thank you Summergale for answering. I hope you got it to work. If not let me know and I'll try to give more detailed installation instructions.

This is great, love the one esp for all crowns option.
Just one quick question not related to the mod, what armour/robe is the khajit wearing on your screenshots?

It's from the Terra armors. And the Khajiit is Inigo. ^_^

While I must admit they look cool, I have a really important question: Did you check the origional ESPs for errors in TES5Edit before you uploaded this mod? Alternativly, did you create a merged ESP from scratch? I'm asking becuase the origional mod was Snipped, and it can cause underseriable effects in game, and make SkyProc patches throw up.

If need be, I can send you a completly fixed ESP for the mod that should have no Snip remnants at all.

I did create the merged ESP from scratch, yes. I didn't check for errors in TES5Edit because I was very careful about what I messed with when I did it and I did do it from scratch but you are welcome to do so if you feel better or more comfortable. I certainly won't begrudge you being cautious.

To clarify, I did not merge the original files into one file. I went in and remade Pnkrd's files into a totally new .esp. I opened the tootlset up in two instances at the same time and just replicated everything Pnkrd did into my brand new .esp. Then I ticked that the helmets could be worn by the beast races and saved and was finished. Tested it, uploaded it and viola. I have since checked the mod in TES5Edit and there are no dirty references or anything that flags any problems at all.

Actually, what I'm referring to is using the "Check for Errors" function of TES5Edit, accessible in the same menu as the dirty edit removing mods. Dirty edits by themselves do not indicate a Snipped mod.

And I'd really, really suggest you check your merged ESP from errors, even if you made it by hand. Sometimes, you don't know your mod has Snip-like errors until you try.

This will be very useful for that new character I'm building... I hate hiding faces on my characters, especially beast races.

    Hiya CyrusFyre

i recently did a little reedit on your merged esp, so you not only can create the crowns from scratch, but actually rework existing helmets you find (un enchanted only) into crowns, those recipes will only show up at the forge if you have a respective helmet in your inventory (material needed for a rework is simply the helmet and a single leather strip)

mainly did this for my own use, but could drop it your way if you wish to upload it as well (i don't think opening "a-mod-for-a-mod-for-a-mod" is a really good idea :-D

I'm so sorry this took me so long to get back to you on. That actually sounds like a really cool idea and I'd be happy to upload it and to credit you for it. Again so sorry it took so long to get back to this. I've been slammed with real life $*** ever since my kids got out of school and sometimes it feels like I can't take a breath.
