This looks great, and if I play the DB questline again, this is what I will use. The vanilla armor A) looks ridiculous, like some BDSM fetish costume B) I can only imagine the NOISE from a full-body leather armor! You'd hear the assassin coming a mile away like *squeaky*squeaky*squeaky*squeaky*
Has anyone had an issue with this mod that the shrouded cowl and/or gloves, especially worn in combo, seem to cause a linen gag to appear around the character's head, locked to a fixed point on the character's long axis (not moving with idle animations, just fixed off the Z axis pole) and so obscuring the face in an ugly, clipping way, and floating in the air when you are sneaking? It seems to ONLY be this armor set that does it, as have seen it happen to DB NPCs as well as my characters, but no other hood/gloves seem to do it.
BTW, love the mod, otherwise, tho the low-rez shows badly on the male cuirass. Best "low profile" DB armor, aside from the hand, ofc. People forget that leather creaks and is not that flexible if cured stiff to be good armor, so assassins might mix materials, as they do in this mod.
Nifscope shows NiTriShape mask on the hood that was linked to spine. No doubt this was the request folks had to make the mask show. Sadly, it was buggy here, possibly (am guessing) due to my using "wear circlets with hoods" mod but, whatever the reason, deleting the mask from the Nif so far has fixed the issue.
Behavior was, again, that equipping gloves made rough mask actually appear on eyes or mid face, and boots caused a black blindfold to appear. Both seem fixed with Nifscope delete.
Okay - firstly, thanks for the info. Secondly, I did some work cruising help sites and came away with more knowledge and a fixed game. Your fix worked for me althoiugh I don't have "wear ciirclets ... etc ". Cheers.
Can someone please explain how to fix this problem? This is the single most badass reskin of the DB armor but it's unusable because of the floating bandanas it creates.
Get Nifscope. Make a backup copy of the mesh file for the hood, just in case I am mis-remembering how to do this (it's been a few yrs). In Nifscope, open the original mesh file for the hood. Delete the mask part of the mesh, and ONLY that part (IIRC) Save mesh. See if problem has gone away for you ingame.
I'm sorry, but this is what the Dark Brotherhood armor should have looked like from the beginning. I just love the hood, now. Before, I would never even put the brotherhood armor on my characters. Now, I have no problem with it. This is the best retexture I have seen so far. Thanks for this one!!
The female version is amazing, but the male version is just clothes, colored black, and with a giant handmark on it. Kindof a disappointment, compared to the female version.

Is it OK? Because on this screenshot
they look different. And I want THIS variant.
Can I translate your mod in french and post on the Confrérie des traducteurs's website ?
Thanks in advanced !
