really like and a lot appreciate for mod like this, new npc, new town, new quest, that's my dream, good luck and wish this mod complete soon sorry for my bad english.
So one thing I've noticed is that the render distances are quite short, making me quite sad. Is this the sort of fix I need? http://hoddminir.blogspot.co.uk/2012/02/from-heightmap-to-worldspace-in-skyrim.html And also, should I be doing that later?

Does anyone know of a ambient sound effects tutorial, I cant really find one, and want to make things like the externaltavern and frognight sounds: 1. Work. 2. Work only at night, (I'm also wondering how to make lanterns shine only at night.)
This mod .... if done well can show great potential. imagine having 30+ new towns and quest added with more voice acting . it can make the toplist . dont give up making this mod ^^ well done
Just wanted to add my support and encouragement to this project. "Choice with consequence" as you say is really important. When I first played Skyrim I would agonize over choices, only to discover later that many of them didn't make any difference to the way my character was treated! I will track your mod for now and if I feel I can offer any help I will, if you want it! I am a relative newbie myself! Best wishes to you!
Just from your pic's... I can tell I like the direction you are headed. I really like to feel as tho I'm just a part of the world... and Skyrim tends to force you to be something unrealistic. I can see myself spending lots of time on this land if you can flesh it out nicely Heck... if you can conjure up some way for me to help, messege me !
The name could change : P I went with Smallfolk basically because I want the emphasis of the quests/story to be around less important people/minor incidents not cared about by many.
