Considering that in my experience as a mod author, I have learnt that most of you won't bother to read the description, I hope at least you will read this.
- If you don't like the iron looking colour of the Utilities and Resource interface buttons and think it is a bug, it is not. It is supposed to be that colour to fit in with the colour scheme of the vanilla textures. It is NOT a dwarven button. So if you don't like it change it yourself and please don't post that as an issue.
- If you believe that the button that removes Elder Scroll and Black Book quest importance is bugged because it removes them and then re-adds them to your inventory, it is not. It is designed that way. Before hitting the button you cannot drop them, the button removes the scrolls and books and at the same time removes the quest importance then re-adds them to your inventory. Once they have been re-added, you are able to drop them, put them in a container or on the mounts I created for them. The button will not mount them for you, the mounts work the same way as the claw and mask mounts.
- If the button that removes Elder Scroll and Black Book quest importance does nothing for you that means that you have not completed the required quests. There is a check in the script that makes sure you have completed all quests that the Black Books or Elder Scrolls are used for in order to prevent the quests being bugged because you removed the quest importance. Elder Scrolls can be removed and re-added once you have completed both the Main and Dawnguard (Vampire or Dawnguard) questlines. Black Books can be removed and re-added once you have completed the Dragonborn main questline and all five "Black Book: <book quest name>" quests e.g. "Black Book: Untold Legends"
- If you are trying to put valid (valid as in they are in the list of items in the trophies guide near the button on the top floor) in misc trophies slots but they are classed as quest items, go to the utilities button and select more options then fix misc trophies... and select the corresponding bugged item
From an investigation of some other mods of the same home, I've become very interested in this one. It looks very well thought out and I like the scripting elements. I'm going to give it a try and endorse if everything works out as advertised, I promise. Thanks for your work making me a soon-to-be new Proudspire home owner.
PS...I've just started a new game so it may be a while before I get to this, lol, but I'm really looking forward to it. Thanks again
In your image files, your floors look clean. In my game, they look as proudspire was originally, ie grubby. Like black mold growing on them in patches. I am using the FINAL loose version, I have applied the 'update' (one script file). The proudspireremodel.esp is loaded dead last. And I have 115 other mods loaded...
I put two images (Extended Cellar.jpg and Lower Cellar Entryway.jpg) into your users' image area - you will get notice to approve, I think...
I did go through your troubleshooting FAQ, and did all of the steps - twice. Once with BSA, then again with loose. I also tried them both with and without kiddie's room.
I also forced the mod to load last, so it should over write anything else.
Ok, from what i can see there isn't actually anything wrong. Your just using a different texture than i am. The textures seem to be similar but a bit different as you can also note the columns are different to mine. This is the mod i use: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12308/?
Which one are you using if you don't mind me asking?
REALLY changes Proudspire! Great job! Much more room. looks like an "important person's" home, with all the amenities indoors! About the only thing missing is a bathroom! (just a joke!) nicely laid out, Since I had played with the vanilla house, adding things here and there, I had to go around moving or deleting things. Took about a hour to place furniture, place lighting, add storage chests and just "putter" around the house! Now since the area is so much bigger, the place looks a lot bairer! I'm sure I'll find some time to add more furnishings to make the place look more "lived in"! Great Job
After getting everything set up and giving it a go, I have to say this has to be the best home mod in Skyrim. I could wear out my knees kicking myself for not trying it sooner. All die - hard Skyrim addicts should try this mod. Cheerfully endorsed, and a big kudo to you. Thank you.
This is my favorite player home on the Nexus. You did an amazing job on everything and I couldn't be happier. Like many people I had a couple of minor bugs like moving mannequins and two cooking pots, but following the directions provided and using modding common sense I fixed the few errors my mod load was having. All in all, I give this mod 10 out of 10. Your attention to detail, the layout, the decor, and how seamlessly your player home meshes into the appropriate appeal of Proudspire/Solitude is rather astonishing. Thank you for the great work, your efforts are extremely appreciated!
This looks wonderful - thank you! Now all I have to do is acquire the house. Seriously though, looks like you understood the basic shortfalls of the original layout. I like your fixes. I can't wait to play it.
I have had something odd happen with this mod. The Black Book which returns me to Proudspire stopped working. I am not sure when this happened and could not narrow it down to any other mods that I have installed/removed. Searched the forum, but could not find anyone else mentioning this happening to them.
Any suggestions? I know I can remove/install this mod again, but want to avoid any other problems this may cause.
Load order, ??? not sure if load order is important, or maybe run save game script cleaner , if you have it , and have been adding and removing mods, and things get left behind...
I found the problem, I had installed and used another mod for changing the house your spouse lives in. Moved spouse back into Proudspire, removed the other mod, dropped the black book, picked it up and it seems to be working again.
I really enjoy this mod for Proudspire Manor. My only issue with this mod is all the area devoted to weapon racks and mannequins in the basement. I am not a big collector of weapons and armor, so this ends up being not used.
Any chance in a future upgrade that the basement area for weapons/mannequins could be changed for an Vampire area (better coffin and an area for cattle) ?
You know if your don't use them nor want them , you can just remove them the console also try using a great little mod called jaxonz postioner, adn after moving them you make that area down there, your own vamp area using JP to make copies of coffins
Its my original version of the disenchanter (been heavily refined in later mods). Put an item in the "Items to reset" and they will be transferred to the chest "Items already reset" without their stolen flag if they had one and without any player made enchantment (intended for use when you stuff up the enchantment such as forgetting to name it or put the wrong one on, it will save you having to get another item but you still need to get another soul gem, that you cant get back).

Any hints?
Also have you tried the troubleshooting steps listed in the Installation and Updating section?
