- Nerfed Deep Freeze to 5 seconds
- Deep Freeze no longer dispels upon another frost projectile hit

- All schools scale both their duration and magnitude with skill
- Removed from Atronachs the null reference of the old scaling perk and gave them the new one
- Fixed Fortify Block effects to have a better description and no longer falsely claim to require a shield

- Miraak's Robes and Staff, Mage's Circlet, and Amulet of Articulation will always be the best version
- Magicka Regeneration penalty in combat is removed
- The perks Jeweler and Lapidary are added to Enchanting and allow the crafting of jewelry and circlets
- Impact is moved to replace Intense Flames and only works for fire projectiles
- Deep Freeze has a chance to freeze an opponent regardless of Health
- Fulmination replaces Disintegrate and has a chance to blast an opponent back regardless of Health
- Equilibrium now trades 50 Stamina for 25 Magicka and is unaffected by difficulty
- Restoration attribute applied to enchantments and potions is removed
- Magic school properties applied to contact enchantments are removed
- Armor spells will always dispel any previous armor effects
- A new condition on disease effects checks to make sure the player is not immune
- Player starts with no spells but can find a Flames tome and Healing tome in a cage in the beginning
- Elsweyr Fondue lasts for 8 hours
- Black Soul Siphon is a new perk after Soul Siphon that has a similar effect but for humans
