So, things have gone a bit slower than I'd like due to life throwing some crappy curve balls at me and my laptop (which I used to export clean exportfiles to upload). The first I've sorta dealt with but the second I can't quite work around. The hard drive was salvageable but I need to buy a new motherboard, case, and probably ram. In fact, the hard drive was the ONLY thing that was salvageable. Anyway, I'll get back to work on the mod (I'm about halfway done with Dawnguard) after I've sorted out some personal affairs. I'd like to give a timeframe, but I'm terrible with those when it comes to my work life not screwing me over. On the bright side of that, when Fallout 4 comes out I'll probably be super motivated to finish this mod by association of playing an awesome, fresh bethesda sandbox again dedicatedly. ANYWAY, the releases WILL come out for the expacs, the just might not be super fast until my life evens out (which looks like march sadly).
So if anyone is still paying attention, I'm back. I was on a sabbatical for much longer than I wanted and life is still sorta treating me like crap. Sorry for anyone who's waiting for the release but it's hard to dedicate time to the mod when life is sorta kicking me while I'm down. The end is in sight however for the crappy times and I'll be devoting serious time to finishing up the expacs. That time probably won't be for a few weeks, but it will happen. Again sorry for delays.
Ya, I'm trying to get back to it, slowly. The issue has mostly been time, though my schedule has normalized and, god willing, nothing else should detract. I'm going to aim to dedicate at least an hour a day starting this weekend (which for me starts friday).
For bug comments, just post which NPC it is and if they don't have a specific name (like a random spawn) give me your approximate level along with the type and race of enemy so I can go a bit further and see if the issue is on my end. Just as a blanket, my mod doesn't effect outfits whatsoever, and the same goes for body dimensions. All I change is the gender and the face of the NPCS I work with, the briarhearts being the main exception as I had to change them to a normal mesh, but nothing else should be different. (On an unrelated note, if someone would be willing to make a female briarheart mesh, you would be my hero).
i'm going to spitball some ideas, I got a feeling i'm about to become captain obvious. don't take my ramblings as a request.
this is great, but I fear the ones that already tough certain npc's with the trans stick along with a re-voiced female would clash with this greatly, maybe make some versions that don't touch the unique npc's, seed in some babes in the generic denizens with names like whiterun guard, drunk reveler "you could get some chick to voice their limited dialogue for cheap/free, college students looking to be actors need to start their resume somewhere" falmer, draugr, and dremora, in fact a monster only feminization would be pretty sweet, don't know of any mods that gives all of the human creepies some titties… what would a storm atranoch sculpted into a renaissance female statue look like?
I just wanted to say thank you again for undergoing such a big and time-consuming project, seriously, I'm super thankful for the work you've done here. I know from doing similar npc overhauls for personal use that these kinds of projects can get pretty stressful, so I can only imagine how much of a strain it must be knowing you're making this for the public.
If there's any help a relatively mediocre modder can give you or if you or if you need a donation of some sort I'd be more than willing to chip in out of appreciation.
Doesn't seem to be working, the gender of the NPC's stay the same. Install this mod with Nexus Mod Manager > No effect Uninstall all other mods and start a completely new game > No effect Uninstall all mods, remove local content, reinstall skyrim, only install this mod, new game > No effect
A good and funny mod! But I don't think it's necessary to make all the named male NPC to be female. Feel uncomfortable as heir male voices, so when I meet one, I put him(her) a mask by outfit changing mod. I like keep them still to be male, that's perfect. Anyway, thank u for the mod !
