I just downloaded this and was going to take a look at the .zip file before I installed it. It would not open a quick inspection with a HEX editor showed me that the .zip is really a .7z file. If you rename it, you can read it. I have not installed it yet. NMM and MO probably try it as a .zip and see it as corrupted. (In Rodger's defence 7Zip will open a .7z even if it has a .zip extension so he might not have known.)

I shall update this note if I test it and find more issues.

Ok so i have this idea first of all lets look at the man in history Spartacus ok he hated the imperial roman legion as did his followers and with good reason but armor is armor and he and his troops would steal roman armor just to have good armor but they would make it their own by adding fur and such to protect them from the elements. So any one saying that your original armor was not lore friendly is misguided. So My idea is for you to take the original armor you had created add in the officer armor parts with the fur and spiked gauntlets and boots and there you have it lol Stormcloak general armor haha It will look great!!!

You know... That's actually a really good idea. I think I'm going to make that, and even put you in the credits. Thanks!

Wow. I didn't think anyone liked how I used Tullius' armor to make this. Anyways, no problem! I might upload that as a separate mod though. I'll send you a link when I make it.

Why don't you join the legion instead? Why would you want to be a Stormcloak yet have all the legion gear ported across? That's stupid. The Stormcloaks aren't meant to be Legion and vice versa, it's dumb enough that no Stormcloak general would wear repainted Legion general armor. Save this guy the work and just join the legion and stop being a noob.

I think he likes the stormcloaks better, but wants the fancy legion armor.

That word noob is so stupid and honestly why get involved with some thing that was between him and the uploader and If he has the thoughts and rodger is willing to make it who are you to have any thing to say? Stop being an over opinionated A hole and Save your negativity for the steam workshop Nexus is a place where people should be expected to be cooler than your nasty attitude suggests...

You should consider releasing more armor for both factions. I'd strongly suggest against stealing legion kit designs for use with stormcloak faction stuff because they're diametrically imposed. Yes, legion stuff looks cooler, but that's the catch. If you want to be a roman soldier, join the legion, if you want to be a skin wearing barbarian, join the stormcloaks. It could also be said if you want to bring the Pax Romana to Skyrim join the legion and if you want to murder babies and turn into a crazed religious zealot who wants to implement Sharia law and ethnically cleanse all the non-believers join the Stormcloaks, but hey, I shouldn't rabble rouse for a laugh (although you just know a few folks reading this would be spilling their mead and grabbing their war hammers!).

It would be delightful to see more implementations of legion stuff in the game, especially craftable and purchasable upgrades. See, legion is different to stormcloak, once the rebellion is over it's over. The legion remains once the rebellion is quashed, and you have other things to do as a legion member. But it's hard when even lowbie level steel X is better than legion X, so by your second or third legion quest wearing the legion armor is pointless and every looted item you hand your followers to hold they will equip because it's stronger than their legion stuff.

So basically the game is lacking end-game legion wear, or even mid-game legion wear, purely because the legion is an enduring faction even after the civil war is done and dusted. It might not be as trendy as Hitler and his baby killing religious zealots, but we legionnaires are people too, and need some higher level prettier stuff! You should look at the way Convenient Horses armor or Cloaks of Skyrim / Winter is Coming / Bandoliers / etc add backpacks and stuff that ADDS extra stuff depending on what is in the inventory so that if you have parchment a scroll could be tucked in your belt, etc. You could even have adaptive armor that grows with you as a player that way, the more stuff you equip of higher level the design of your armor changes and improves perhaps?

Idk, if you like any of these ideas and are sincerely committed to making good armor, I'll happily spill my guts on ideas I've had and have heard other modders discussing in detail that could be implemented yet aren't because people are lazy.

Wow. That was extremely detailed. I'm planing on changing some of this to fur, but I'd love to hear your ideas. I hate bragging, but I'm pretty committed to my work. And I like what you said about the mead and war hammers.

No offense but... How the heck could this be lorefriendly? I'm not saying at all this to be a bad idea, nor that the quality of the textures should be bad, by no means, but giving Stormcloaks generals an armor that is basically that of its worst enemies, granting them an imperial appearance, will hardly be 'lorefriendly'.

I mean, "lorefriendly" doesn't only mean "Hey, they don't wear sunglasses", but to be "non invasive" with lore; Stormcloaks hate the Empire, the Empire look like "romans", the Stormcloak look like "barbarians". I agree with you about SG deserving a better armor, but yours can't be lorefriendly.

This armor looked so pretty before I opened link and saw images. Repainting Imperial armor and introducing as Stormcloak is simply bad idea to say the least. Extreme lore unfriendly.
