Weapon and Armor Fixes Remade 5.5 is now available; please see the Changelog for a full list of changes. With this update, several outstanding bugs and issues have been addressed and any appropriate changes from recent updates to Weapons Armor Clothing and Clutter Fixes (for Special Edition) have been incorporated into the mod. At this time, development of Weapons and Armor Fixes Remade is considered complete and no further updates are planned, although we will continue to address any bugs that may arise.
Hi this is allowing me to upgrade Skyforge Steel Weapons to Legendary when I shouldn't be able to with my smithing perks and skill level. All others I have the perks for go up to exquisite. Fix it please
Sorry, but I am unable to reproduce this issue. Do you have any perk overhauls loading after this mod or mods which could be adding additional keywords to the Skyforge weapons? Those would be the likely causes of the issue you're describing.
Hi mate, great mod, been using in for a long time as MLU requires it and my whole build is around MLU.
I've got one problem, the Iron Helmet (Fine) male version is using the female version mesh resulting in the male version having the hair clipping through the helmet.
I'm messing around with vanilla meshes trying to fix it and it's a real chore.
Don't suppose you could update it since I'm not that versed into changing item ID's or stuff like that.
Apologies for the belated response. This mod intentionally separates the male and female meshes into different helmets which can be worn by both genders and under normal circumstances that doesn't cause any issues, so I'm not sure why it's causing this issue for you.
While we won't be making any changes to the mod itself, if this is still a concern for you, please let me know and we can probably figure out a solution for you.
The Ebony Blade? We forward the changes from the Unofficial Patch. The UESP entry provides some background on the change though.
BUGS The Ebony Blade is wielded in two hands, but is considered a one-handed sword rather than a greatsword. This means that it gets the benefits of a generic two-handed weapon, such as using and training the Two-handed general skill level, but also benefits from all the One-handed perks that apply to one-handed swords. Specifically, its damage, weight, weapon reach, sound files, impact force, and stamina usage are all configured to One-handed skill values. It also receives damage bonuses from Fortify One-handed enchantments on your gear.
The Official Skyrim Patch, version 1.9.26.0.8, addresses this issue. It changes the weapon's type to greatsword, and changes its type keyword from sword to greatsword. Note that the weapon retains all of its other old values - it still has the reach, speed, etc of a one-handed sword. However, the changes mean that it now behaves in all ways that interact with skills, perks, etc as a greatsword would.
The Unofficial Skyrim Patch changes the weapon to behave like an Ebony Greatsword in all respects, except for its weight, which is changed to 12.

steelplate helmet - dragon mask and masque of clavicus vile makes you headless i dont know why but these 3 items had problems no other armor piece has this problem and i dont use any mods that changing look of armors
I'm using amidianborn weapons (without the content addon) and the skyforge option in WAFR, noticed that they both have conflicting esps. Should the amidianborn weapons be given higher priority or the WAFR version be given higher priority?. Sorry if this has already been answered.
Unfortunately this mod makes the entire head and neck of my character disappear when I equip Dragon Priest Masks. I don't know if that's a known issue or not
I have a question about all the texture and meshes Mods like Frankly armors or amidianborn things etc. (without esp! i mean only textures and meshes replacer)
Should they override Weapons and Armor Fixes Remade or should Weapons and Armor Fixes Remade override them?

Oh and ofc! What is with immersive armors? I cant find anything about WAAFR and Immersive Armors, is there a patch or do they work just fine together? I dont get it, these mods are huge and nearly everyone uses them, why is it sooo hard to find something about it if they work together or not.

I would definitely advise letting those mods overwrite WAFR, so the great models and textures from those other mods can be seen.
WAFR should work mostly out-of-the-box with Immersive Armors; I don't believe its armors are balanced against WAFR, but from what I recall, it otherwise includes any relevant changes (keywords, etc.).
