Will the armor added have a chance to be enchanted?

Hi. Even as a Complete noob in the CK, I can see just how awesome and POWERFUL this tool is. Really rather cool.

Obviously you're pretty quiet on the scene now, and adding weapons is too large a task, but what about Warlock & Necromancer Robes?
They're an armour type, of a sort. Would you be able to add them simply as part of the current way you do things?

    Please! :p
Or is it too much work?

      Hello Neiljwd,

Thanks for private messaging me as I probably would not have seen this post for a while. True, I have been away from the scene as life changes are constantly keeping me busy (here comes the internships). But, I have found myself with a few weeks of open time so yes I think I should be able to get the "warlock and necromancer robes" added to this mod and updated within the next week.

Glad to know that this small tool is helping the Skyrim modding community!

Just a bit of an update, when looking through the level lists for robes they appear to be all specific. Meaning that each NPC type uses their own level list.

For example, mages in the College will access the level list "LlItemRobesCollegeDestruction" for robes that help with destruction magic. Where as warlocks will use the item list "LlItemWarlockRobesDestruction". This of course makes sense as each NPC uses a different robe look (i.e. mages use college robes and warlocks use warlock robes).

Unfortunately, my mod cannot help with mage robes and all I would be doing is making unnecessary additions to the game. What I would suggest is that type "Robes" into the level list section of the Creation Kit. This will bring up all the relevant level lists to add your own robes to.

Even though I have been away for....a while now, I still plan to release the weapon version of this mod (unless it has already been made). I hope within the next week to get the steel weapon version up as a test phase.

I will keep those interested informed.

This is such a clever and great way to add custom armors to the game. Thank you for adding this.

I too would like this to work for weapons. I've compiled a bunch of the armour and weapon mods, so I've got several hundred weapons and pieces of armour. Adding these to the individual levelled lists is an absolute pain in the ol' behind.

Also, will this be extended to the DLC? That would also save much pain.

Thank you for expressing interest into this mod. It seems as though a weapon version would be helpful and I am starting to get to the point where I need it as well. Like the post below, I will probably not get to the weapon version until my current semester is over (a senior in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology) as I don't have much time.

However, I will definitely start to put the concepts into practice and should have it completed by December-ish. As for the DLC, I do plan on adding to the DLC "eventually". My main priority was just to get the main Skyrim game working first.

I too would like to see this able to be used for weapons and shields. It's a pretty fantastic mod for those of us willing to take the time to use it, saving us equal amounts of time simultaneously.

    Hello,
Can we delete armor from every PNJ/mob ?
I would like to craft every armor in the game but i don't want to loot deadric,dwemer,ebonite...on the mob in the game.
Is it possible with this mod ?

I apologize for my english, i'm french ^^.
    Thank you.

      Hello Cambronne,

To my knowledge you will not be able to remove armor from the NPC (mob) because this mod adds a sublist to the level lists already present in the game.

However, if you would like to use this mod as a starting point, you can look at the sublists that are in this mod and then replace any high level armor with low level armor.

For example, if I tracked the sublist aaEbonyArmor and then put Leather Armor into the sublist while removing any Ebony Armor I would have successfully removed any trace of Ebony Armor from NPC (mob).

Of course, this would be a lot of work (since the mod is not designed to remove armor) on you but perhaps my mod can help in showing you were the appropriate levels lists are located.

      Best of luck to you!
