   Based on the crossbow plug in I think this makes the players weapons stronger...either way I don't see the need for this. As a werewolf arrows kill me pretty quick, and if I use a bow I kill players pretty quick so I don't get it

   I think the author is more referring to when NPCs use archery on each other, or the player.
   
   May as well be a pidgeon fight as they have no efficient means of ending the fight quickly.

   I'm with the guy below if your finding ranged weapon to weak you either havent bout a new bow since you started playing or are still using iron arrows at high level maybe?

   Ranged weapons are to week? Um, most enemies can be killed in 1 sneak attack (if you have a good bow) as it is.
