Can you please make the same ring but with less shadow for better first person visibility in archery? Thanks!

I haven't played with this mod yet, but it shouldn't. I would expect that Oblivion Walker is coded as completing the quest, not getting the artifact itself, because you get the artifact if you have completed the quest. If it's not, I would expect he changed it to be like that (since he said that he changed any scripts referencing the Ebony Mail to reference this ring instead.

"Does not have sense, Boethiah tells you to kill everybody on Knifepoint Ridge as an Assasin, and the Ebony Mail is a Heavy Armor, and the Boethiah's Enchantment is for an Assasin"

Well, ummm, you should know that the wearer of ebony mail is muffled so it CAN be effectively used by an assassin. I have nothing against your ring, just thought I should point that out.

yes can be, but assassins was not meant to use Heavy Armors.

Well, yeah. But the muffling effect is not the reason that most assassins would not want heavy armor, unless they are doing this quest VERY early in the game. The reason is skills. All the assassin armor and all the thieves armor, and in fact, all armor made for people who sneak a lot is light armor. So those are the armors you will likely be wearing, once you can get them. And that means that you will be leveling up your Light Armor skill and not your Heavy Armor skill, which means that unless you get the Boethiah armor early in the game, you will likely have a decent Light Armor skill and possibly some perks, but no heavy armor skill or perks. And the skill does more than just affect noise. So an assassin who has a high or mid Light Armor skill and a virtually non-existent Heavy Armor skill is not going to want to wear the Boethiah mail and thus prevent the wearing of light armor which would benefit from the skill.

So it's not just that assassins were not meant to wear heavy armor, as suggested by nexbr, but that it is often disadvantageous for assassins to do so, considering their skills.

I know this is late from the original post -- the response is mainly for others who might come across this thread and be wondering the same thing. I hope that is okay.

would have been useful but already have the permenant active power, god how i wish i could disable that, soo annoying,
be nice to get rid of the active power and then equip this only when needed.

level 72 and have a lot of active powers so dont want to console it out as id lose all the others as well, too many to console back in.

give us a ring thatll switch off the active power and ill be chuffed as fk.then id have a use for this ring.
