I dont check out my Nexus page regularly. So if you have a question or a problem you can best leave a message on the steam version of this mod. I'm on steam almost daily so i usualy can give a response within 48 hours (depending on timezones).
Maybe a bit late to the party, but any of you had very dark interiors as well? If so, care to tell me how you solved it? I love the fortified compound and would very much like to continue using this mod.
I want to say, I think this is an awesome setup. I hate how most 'castle' type mods ignore much about the way things are actually built in Skyrim. The forts are always lacking the common sense things a real fort would have (Bethesda didn't do great, either on most of them). This is superb and I don't care if I have to fight things often - more loot and so conveniently close to home. I try not to fast travel, so I love the location. Very cool!
I keep thinking of this player home since Skyrim V. I just installed it on SE (after unpacking the BSA file into a scripts folder) and it seems to be working fine. Now opening the Creation Kit to see if I can stop my horses from walking back home. Tried the UFO Martingale, but that did not work as of yet.
First, a thank you to the modder for releasing their creation. It's people like you that keep skyrim my favorite game today. Second, all views stated are my own opinion based on my viewpoint, likes, and expectations. Your thoughts may different. Still, i thought it may help those who have never tried the mod before.
While not a mod I would use personally, the home fits quite well within the world. It's central-ish location is great for those who do not use fast travel. And it has a skyrim feel. However, having to fight a dragon in order to gain access is a little annoying, and can turn some people off. If you're looking for a simple home that you just own from the start, their are better alternatives.
Overall, this is a good mod, but my only gripe with it is how, every time I fast travel to the estate, there's always a group of bandits that spawns near the entrance and I have to fight them every single time I visit the home. This always makes me just not want to use the home at all.
