Love the mod so far, but was wondering... How lore friendly is it? The Telvanni had Dust Adepts that were masters of Ash Magic. While there was a ban on Ash Magic, the Telvanni are unconcerned with those types of rules and regulations. I know that not much is known about the Dust Adepts, Kirkbride is the main source if memory serves me right, but I love roleplaying a Telvanni mage and this would make the experience much more enjoyable.
EDIT: Also, would I be able to use this mod to implement Ash Magic into a mod I am planning?
Hey Kool Ancient Nightblade Khajiit, Do you know how/want me to add these to leveled lists and have them spawn either in Neloth and the other Dunmer guy sad person (forgot his name) shop inventory or around Solsthiem or in Ash Spawns inventory? I could add these and then email the file back to you, if you want. Just thought it would be more immersive.
Very nice mod! I realy liked the add of ash magic in Dragonborn, but there were only two spells! This mod is the solution I was waiting for! I hope you will expand it further too! Maybe you could add to ash spells a probability (depending on the level of the spell) to encase the foe in the ash, just like Greater ash shell. Or you could add a "Cremation" spell, that incase enemy in ash and also does fire damage over time like Ignite, and if the enemy dies while encased it turns to an ash pile in a similar way to the ash spawns when they die. And, also if it is not really pertinent to ash magic, you may also add some steam spells (similar to Breath of Nchuak), with some steamy/fiery streams, bolts and explosions visual effects and doing fire and stamina damage over time as well as slowing targets!
That's a hard question. It depends on whether I have any more ideas for the spells and enough time to make them or not. Consider this update the last for now, but keep an eye out just in case if there will be any more =)
