I've tried creating a sign about a hundred times to no avail. I follow each step but get kind of lost when it comes to the NifSkope portion (I have very little experience with such). I was wondering if you (or someone) would be kind enough to break down this segment of the process for a novice.
You need to open the BSShaderTextureSet node and look for your textures there. If you are having trouble, PM me your nif and texture and I'll help you out.

I've got a fairly decent looking city sign, but does anyone have any tricks for getting the same look as the text in the vanilla city signs? Kind of looks wood burned or something.
Thanks, we'll be using this in Ethas: Embrace of Destiny. I always meant to get around to making a black road sign for our cities, but this saves me some time.
to be blunt about this, i would have thought this resource but make text editing on signs alot easyer, but i guess i would need to do alot just to change letters on a sign, if there is anyway to make it easyer to edit text in sign, that would be best, ill track untill i hear from ya ether way
Hanaisse I think what skymarin is asking can this be integrated straight to C.K. as a texture add on or replacer,for modders to use directly? Regards...
