   I actually did that on purpose, to make it look like the fur had been sewn over the top of the fabric. Thanks anyway

   I see you kinda screwed your alpha channel on the textures, as seen on the fur at the edges.
   Suggestion: Take the alpha channel of the original texture, paste it in your own texture, save your texture as .dds with explicit alpha. That should fix it.
