I make bashed patch with just leveled lists, and it somehow breaks this mod. I mean, the vanilla merchants all get vanilla gold, merchants added by other mods (i.e. traveller merchants from Inconsequential NPCs) have random amounts of gold.
I'm ... confused.
UPDATE: Creating a bashed patch with the mod .esp DEACTIVATED, and then activating the mod .esp before running the game, makes the mod work, i.e. the merchants all have 3k+ gold. I don't know if the bashed patch leveled lists will still populate the merchants inventory, though.
It's been a long time and I'm unable to remember if the gold increase was tied to the merchant chest or the perk itself. In the first case it should work, in the second it won't.
If you want to check it yourself the safest way should be the following: Save in an interior cell. Install ordinator and my mod with ordinator being after my mod in your load order (so it takes priority). Wait for three days in that cell before leaving and checking merchant inventory.
It doesn't apply well on the daedra merchant (Dragonborn's Black market spell). The first time I summoned him, his came with 7000 gold. Then I waited 3 days, and he came with 2000 gold. The third time he came, 3000 gold. Some very random stuff here I think
I have been using this mod for quite a while, never had any issues. But some days ago, I tried out a new mod (Eli's coffee mod), which sets RM out of order (and vice versa). A bashed patch did not help, even made things worse.
I removed the coffee mod, as money from merchants is more important... But RM does not work anymore. No matter if included in the bashed patch or not. Reinstalled several times, used LOOT afterwards, even downloaded it again. played a while without.. Nothing.
That's probably related to the inn merchants. I'd need to take a deep look at both mods to see what exactly causes the conflict and why RM is no longer working but there's no way I could do that before the last week of june.
Right now all I could suggest is to deinstall both mods, save, reinstall RM, load your save and see if it has been fixed.
thanks for your reply. Your suggestion is what I did, spent nearly 1 week ingame. Played a while whithout either of the mods installed, in case the sscript cleaner neds some time. Did not help -.- Does not matter, if you don't have time to check right now, I can wait :-)
me again. Have an info that might be useful: I deleted the bashed patch and this solved the problem, your mod is working again =) Though I still do not understand what causes the issues with the damn coffee mod -.- Perhaps somebody with more modding knowledge than I have knows why.
Did you try having RM before Eli's coffee mod in your load order? The second should overwrite changes from RM but only for inn keepers. Nevertheless I'll took at that as soon as possible.
yes, I tried RM before and after Eli's Mod, no difference. I expected only the innkeepers' gold amount affected, but all merchants were affected. The worst thing was that even the investor-perks were set out of order with the bashed patch. But I don't know if this is a problem of the patch or any incompatibility of mods.
Hi, you say "When you buy things from a merchant make sure it does not end up with more than 30000 gold. There is a vanilla bug that makes them totally useless if that happens: they take your stuff but won't give you gold and they may very well stop to reset their inventory."
if i've understood it correctly it's a vanilla issue (not related to your mod) where if you buy enough to make it have more than 30000 gold the merchant "broke" and next time you try to sell something you won't get paid.
but where you say "they take your stuff..." means that after this happens with one merchant then all of them will be broken? (probably not and this is a stupid question, but i want to be sure)

Getting ready for my next playthrough where I want to use T3nd0's Perkus Maximus. I know the perks in the Speechcraft tree are altered by Perkus Maximus, so I made a test run to see if this mod was affected.
The initial 3000 gold are still applied to merchants. When taking the Investor perk and investing the "500" gold, it does not add the additional 5000 gold. When taking the Master Trader perk it doesn't add the additional 10000 gold either.
I've asked the PCaPP (PerMa Compatibility and PaMa Patches) people to make a patch for it and they've added it on their to-do list. However, with the amount of work they have ahead of them, it might be into next year before that happens.
I myself have tried opening it in TES5EDIT and I looked around a bit. But since my modding experience is 0% I really have no clue what to do.

Any ideas how to fix this?
