I have a problem, kharjo would always appear back to normal after a little bit and I don't know what's wrong. Now I can't seem to get the mod to work at all. I've tried reloading and uninstalling the mod.
I have a question. What if you head to dawnstar to find Kharjo and you find a Khajit camp completely empty? I went to dawnstar to try and get Kharjo and there was an empty camp. No matter how long I waited there, no one showed up. I couldn't find Kharjo anywhere.. please help.
that is a vanilla glitch. i am not sure what causes it. i think it is probably the fact they all got high on skooma and just forgot to pack up their tent the next morning.
Hello. I'm just about to add this mod to BOSS's masterlist (I'm doing a "Kharjo run"), and so I looked it through in TES5Edit. Are you aware that you're making changes to all the races? I get why you could need to edit KhajiitRace (and KhajiitVampireRace) if you need a hair colour not available by default, but for all the other races too? This also causes your mod to override some changes from the latest updates to Skyrim (Update.esm). I'm guessing all these dirty edits are due to the NPC Editor, but all in all, it means the mod isn't very clean. Just thought I'd give you a heads up. Thanks for giving the khajiiti some love.
I doubt there are that many professional modders out there. We all have to start somewhere. I'd suggest you search the Interwebz for "TES5Edit" tutorials/guides/etc. TES5Edit should allow you to clean out most of the cruft from the mod quite easily, simply deleting the rogue entries. You can also use TES5Edit to merge/copy changes from update.esm (and the USKP) into your mod, for the records your mod would otherwise override. Once you have done this (it's not as hard as it may sound, really), I'd suggest you load up your mod in the Creation Kit and see if anything needs further adjustments. Actually, you should probably do the CK first, then TES5Edit, and then the CK again. (And then TES5Edit again, just to check the CK didn't add anything funny...) Remember to make backups of your mod in each iteration, in case you do something silly and then accidentally save that into the mod. Can often be easier to just go back to an earlier version than trying to undo the silliness.
Yep. I did a little bit of googling and then tried to delete these unwanted "dirty edits". However I'm not sure if I even got it right, because at the end when I was checking the mod for errors it gave me a small pile of them.
But yeah despite all the rough editing I uploaded the new version here.
