so this disables kill moves.......i rather have one that simply disables the cam rather then the move. the killing move isn't the problem, it's the cam removing control that frustrates me to no end.
Seeing that there are still users in search for a way to toggle off killcams, I can only recommend the VioLens mod. It gives you a good control of killmoves, and you can completely turn off killcams if you like. I usually use it to turn off killcams for magic and archery while simultaneously maintaining killmoves in first person (no annoying killcams). There are other mods as well, but I haven't tried them and cannot tell if they're worth a try.
If even such modders such as Mr. Dave complain about this mod having issues, I wouldn't take the risk to try it if there are better alternatives out there. However, I'm not sure if VioLens covers the problem with werewolf killcams as I usually don't play as werewolf or vampire.
Well, that was short lived. Just downloaded this to test out due to being sick to death of the completely broken werewolf killcams. Only problem is this caused the kill scene to stop for a moment, then speed through the killcam actions, then completely lock the camera up.
Same here, bummer. I'm having a problem with werewolf killcam freezing until the enemy dies and then they usually fly across the screen. It's so annoying.
Heya 'anyone that's still around'! is there any chance of fixing the sneak kill bug? it's not just with a dagger it can be a kill with any melee weapon that leaves them with full health... they just turn round an say "Oh!, I'm sorry... did you need something?" I have no DLC but do have the latest update!
Having the assassination glitch as well. I'm looking at playing spellsword for a bit (and to me that feels most natural with sword in right hand), which of course means that unlike dual wielding I don't have a left hand weapon to use when sneaking up on people to avoid triggering the bug. I'm curious if anyone knows a way that the killcam for those could be re-enabled without enabling anything else, or frankly any clues on what camera paths or global variables or whatever controls them. I've not given up tinkering around with stuff myself yet, so there's a small chance I'll figure it out anyway - if that happens I'll update this post.
I'm looking for the same thing. Running Dragon Combat Overhaul with Deadly Dragons means I can almost never get in close with a weapon, it's all spells and arrows. Occasionally, when they are almost dead, I like to activate my power, cast buffs, drink resistance and buff poitions, and finish them off.
But every. single. god. damn. time. I get eaten, shaken around like a mouse being played with by a cat, and then tossed to the side like garbage. This is at 100% health, 200 hp and I get screwed. Everytime.
There's another mod that disables all kill moves except by the player, but I haven't tried it as what I want is what I used to get from this mod: no kill moves at all whatsoever (or prefferably no kill moves except assassinations, and no use of killcam at all even for those).
I might have to take up modding myself, I'm so picky ;P
There is a problem with this mod with all DLCs installed; assassination kill moves are started then aborted, leaving the target at full health and invulnerable to all damage.

Add that line anywhere to your Skyrim.ini and it'll get rid of the camera/slow-mo effect.

Alas, the search goes on...
