Just to add from what the author said in his description: I am planning on doing another playthrough so I downloaded this mod and activated it to just have the cabin with a new character. I had a fully built Lakeview Manor on another save with no furnishings with the front converted into an entryway. This mod WILL appear in the entryway, but if you're comfortable disabling a few things blocking the door into the main hall via console, then this mod creates a very unique entryway. I hope this helps anyone. The author mentioned that they were unsure if the mod would appear or not with the full mansion, but it does.
EDIT: Well, scratch that. Just went back in and there is no floor or walls in the entryway..lol...it appears that this mod will only work as the cabin. Now we know...
Very late to this,just discovered the mod, but I had the same thing happen and playing around with the load order got it to stay. I used the one with the double bed in the loft.
Lol, you've said a couple times that you're basically not gonna get around to doing the other two Hearthfire locations anytime soon, and I feel ya on the laziness. But even so, you have yet another vote in favor of you putting in the time and effort to do so. This mod looks awesome, and the idea of a hunters cabin or shack seems more suitable for the other locations too, rather than big manor houses. Great mod. Much props.
I REALLY like the screenshots of the loft home. Right now I've got the fully expanded Lakeview house and it's great and I love it for this character. However, I am definitely not going to want to do this exact house again for any character and will be using mods for different characters to make the area look different every time. I have marked this one and will love to try it out. It looks like everything one really needs is there in a nice compact home.
OK, I am finally getting around to trying this but just realized that my piece of property is the one on the northern coast you get from the Jarl of Morthal! The house is named Windstad Manor. Will this mod work on it or just the one down in Falkreath? If it doesn't is it too much trouble to ask if you could do a Windstad Manor version? I like that location a lot and it has a fish hatchery which I really like.
I did try out the Falkreath location tonight and you did a great job, endorsed!
Another question, is it possible to have one of those big fire pits right in the middle of the home (instead of the smaller one in the corner) like in the various farmers houses in Skyrim? I always liked how warm they make the small homes feel. And I haven't seen any small house mods that use the large central fire pit like in the vanilla farmer homes.
Can u give me a link for screenshot of this fire pit? Do u want fire pit in one floor version or in loft version? About winstad, i`m sorry but it`ll be like doing it from scratch, and i`m lazy)
I'll get you a screenie of the pit. I thought you might be able to just "move" the whole mods location to Winstad Manor. I really like Winstad's location right on the coast and the fish hatchery is nice to have, especially for alchemists.
OK, I uploaded a screenshot of the large central fire pit in Chillfurrow Farm right outside of Whiterun. Battle-Born Farm right next to it also has one of these large central fire pits.
And after trying the different versions of the mod I prefer the single level with the double bed. I hope you can move it to Winstad somehow with not much effort!
I`m sorry man, but i can`t give you firepit, because floors in this houses come one piece whit walls, so i can`t place pit, it`ll be above floor=( Really liked your idea, tried every firepit in game, but nothing works right. The best i can do is a default firepit (stone one that comes with this houses) in any size or this thing... http://4put.ru/pictures/max/565/1735840.jpg And about Winstad, it`s like doing it all over again, really, and i can`t even test it in game, because i simply don`t own this house in my game. Added optional file with double bed. You`ll still need main file. And if you need more beds for children, homedragon etc. you can place them with awsome mod AK Placeable statics where u want them!) What i can help u with is weapon racks, bookshelves, scaled (little robots like) stuff and lightning, everything else can be simply added or moved by AK Placeble statics) If u have any request feel free to post them, i`ll do my best to give you what you want where u want it) Tnx for your time, good luck!
suggestion. can you make it a double bed? so i can bring my spouse i found it a little spacious, maybe u can re-arrange the furniture's so that you can add 2 child's bed?
